Reformist politician Massoud Pezeshkian, who won Iran’s snap presidential election earlier this month, has unveiled the contour of his foreign policy principles in his administration.
Iran’s newly-elected President Massoud Pezeshkian, in his first appointment, has designated former foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who had a central role in his electoral victory, as the head of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations for the transition period.
The office of Iran’s President-Elect Massoud Pezeshkian has issued a general plea asking civil institutions, scientific associations, as well as political parties with different affiliations to submit their proposed candidates as members of the incoming administration.
