Baseless claims can’t justify killing Yemeni civilians: Spokesman

Spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari said some officials in neighboring Arab countries do not know any other excuse other than blaming Iran for justify their destructive policies.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry has rejected claims by a UAE official that military aggression by the Arab coalition on Yemen has been a response to Iran.

Spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari on Modnay said, “Such illegal and loose reasoning cannot justify the destruction of the infrastructure of a defenseless country and purposeful killing of thousands of oppressed innocent Yemeni citizens.”

Unfortunately, he added, some officials in neighboring Arab countries do not know any other excuse other than blaming the Islamic Republic of Iran for justifying their mistaken and destructive policies.

“They mistakenly assume that the policy of identifying Iran as a threat can still deceive the international community and peoples of the region so that they may disregard obvious  realities regarding the real sources of war-mongering and extremism,’ the spokesman said.
