Officials say, members of the terror groups, trying to sneak into the Iranian side of the border on Monday night were faced by the Iranian security forces.
The report adds, one security force was killed in the ensuing clashes, near Iran-Pakistan border areas.
The border areas of Iran and Pakistan are the scene of repeated attacks by terrorists and drug smugglers on Iranian forces.
