Tajrish bustling in run up to Nowruz

The Iranian New Year is fast approaching and the festive mood can be felt in the streets of the capital in the run up to Nowruz.

Streets and shopping centers are once again bustling, although, due to high inflation, many Iranians are buying less and instead spend more time window shopping.

Tehran’s Tajrish neighborhood and traditional Bazar are among the areas of the city where you can see people preparing to say good bye to winter and welcome the New Year.
