The date harvest season has been kicked off in the hottest regions of Hormozgan province in southern Iran, and is slowly spreading across all southern regions.
The city of Parsian in western Hormozgan has palm orchards, which are watered by rain and irrigation. The city has a variety of dates, the most important of which are Azad, Kabkab, Shekari, Halilah, among others.
