Azerbaijan’s President Elham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory message to leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the arrival of Nowruz. Aliyev said, “I personally and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan wholeheartedly congratulate you and your people on the occasion of Nowruz.
Aliyev expressed confidence that friendly ties, neighborliness and cooperation between the Republic if Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran will be strengthened and expanded in the best interests of the people of the two countries.
The Azeri president wished Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei good health.
