The IRGC in its statement has called on the Iranians from all walks of life to massively participate in the Quds Day rallies, saying that it is a chance for human community to show their anger at the global arrogance.
“38 years after Imam Khomeini’s initiative, the issue of Palestine, beyond the geography of the Muslim world, has become a matter of concern for the human community, especially for the freedom-seeking and justice-seeking nations. [Therefore,] the International Quds Day has given them the opportunity to protest and show anger at hegemony and global arrogance,” the statement reads.
It was further noted in the statement that the IRGC’s defence capabilities is a spiritual support for the Intifada and the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement.
The IRGC also stressed the importance of Muslim society’s paying attention to the strategies of the late Imam Khomeini, and also those of Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the issue of Palestine to overthrow the occupying regime of Israel.
“The Iranian revolutionary nation, together with the Muslim Ummah all around the world, will massively take part in Quds International Day demonstrations to stress the need to fight until the annihilation of the Israeli regime and also the development of different aspects of confrontation with the global arrogance and hegemonies,” the statement went on to say.
The IRGC has also touched upon the strategy of returning the Palestinians to the land of Quds and holding free elections to determine the destiny of Palestinians as the only successful solution which is supported by the Muslim Ummah to resolve the Palestinian issue.
The statement further referred to the strategies and scenarios used by the global arrogance to provide security for the Zionist regime of Israel, stating that in the current grave situation, in addition to proxy wars by Takfiri terrorists in the West Asia, unfortunately some regional countries are normalizing ties with the Zionist regime and compromising with Israel which has created a new situation that could threaten the oppressed Palestinian people.
The IRGC also emphasized the need for unity and convergence among all Palestinian resistance groups in their fight against the “fake” Zionist regime.
“In a situation that the international human rights communities are silent and some Muslim Arab countries are helping Israel increase its brutality against the oppressed Palestinian nation, and while public opinion in the Muslim World is not concentrated on the turbulent situation in the region, continuation of the strategy of resistance is the only roadmap that can change the power equation in the occupied territories in favour of its main advocates.”
The statement also mentioned that Imam Khomeini as the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, by calling the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day, raised the flag of constant struggle with arrogant powers. It also added that at a time when the issue of Palestine and Quds was being consigned to oblivion, Imam Khomeini with his strategic and surprising initiative, made it the most important issue of the Muslim Ummah.
