Iran’s Beauties in Photos: Colourful Nature of West Azarbaijan

West Azerbaijan Province in northwestern Iran has nearly all the makings of a major natural tourist destination. 

The region’s unique natural diversity as well as its climate have made the province an almost irresistible destination for those interested in nature tourism.

Dozens of fields covered with flowers, particularly chamomile, leucanthemum and poppy, are just a few of the region’s attractions.

With 1,500 nationally-recognized heritage sites and two UNESCO-listed structures, West Azarbaijan is also an ideal place for historic and cultural tourism.
