Reshte-Khoshkar is a tasty Iranian cookie native to the northern province of Gilan. The sweat and greasy cookie is usually eaten as a tea-time snack.

The cookie is popular among fasting Muslims in the holy month of Ramadan for the fast-breaking meal.

Reshte-Khoshkar has been around for about three centuries.

Its main ingredients are rice, sugar, walnut and spices such as cardamom and cinnamon.
