Ali Daei, the former Iranian footballer and current coach, is one of the only football players in Iran to carry the title “engineer” thanks to his M.S. in metallurgy from the prestigious Sharif University of Technology.

Now, he has been seen on Friday taking the PhD entrance exam, this time in sociology.

According to a Farsi report by Iran newspaper, Daei is willing to further his studies in social sciences.
