Iran’s Missile Capability Advances Global Fight against ISIS: Zarif

Iranian minister of foreign affairs says the country’s missile capabilities both ensure greater security for the nation and contribute to the global fight against terrorism in the region.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a Monday post on his Twitter account said, “Iran’s missile capability protects its citizens on lawful self-defense and advances common global fight to eradicate ISIS and extremist terror.”

Iran’s Missile Capability Advances Global Fight against ISIS: ZarifZarif’s tweet was posted in reaction to the last night’s (June 18) retaliatory missile attacks by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) on the Takfiri terrorists’ positions in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor.

IRGC fired six medium-range missiles which “pounded” the Takfiri group’s command headquarters as well as arms and ammunition centres.
