Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks earlier on Wednesday in a meeting with members of the Martyrs Commemoration Congress from the western Iranian province of Lorestan.
The statements came in reaction to the Israeli regime’s assault on over 2.3 million people in the Gaza Strip since October 7, with more than 12,000 tons of explosives used against Palestinians, that has so far left over 6,000 people killed and at least 18,000 injured.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the US is behind the unabated Israeli aggression against the Palestinians.
“The presence of the heads of oppressor and vicious states in occupied Palestinian territories shows they are worried about Israel disintegration,” the Leader stated.
The Iranian leader echoed his previous remarks that Gaza “is a scene of grandeur” despite being oppressed by the Zionist regime.
He also said Operation Al-Aqsa Flood by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas against Israel was a “crushing and decisive” blow to the occupying regime after decades of violating Palestinians’ rights.
The Leader also called on Islamic governments not to remain passive in the face of the crimes perpetrated by Israel, stressing that “Palestine will definitely succeed.”
