Poshtab Fort is an ancient site in the mountainous regions of north-eastern Iran.
Poshtab is an ancient fort in the mountains of Ahar in East Azerbaijan Province.
The fort sits atop a high cliff. Step stones offer the only way to the fort which is surrounded on three sides by very steep precipices.
