Amir Abdollahian: Iran-Qatar agreements must be implemented

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has underlined the need for implementing bilateral agreements signed with Qatar during Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s visit to the Persian Gulf country.

Amir Abdollahian was speaking in a meeting with the Persian Gulf country’s top diplomat in Tehran on Tuesday.

The Iranian foreign minister and Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hamadi also discussed issues of mutual interest.

The Qatari foreign minister has travelled to Iran for holding the first session of the committee of political consultations between Tehran and Doha.

Iran and Qatar have expanded their ties in all areas in recent years.
