Iran nomadic tribes start migration ahead of summer

In Iran’s East Azerbaijan, nomadic tribes start migrating from Kishlak (wintering place) to Yaylak (summer highland pasture) from mid-spring and end it toward the end of the summer.

The nomadic tribes of Iran’s Qara Dagh (Arasbaran) region in East Azerbaijan Province, start their migration in early June each year.

But this year, they did so around mid-June due to a change in weather conditions and an excessive increase in temperatures and a decrease in downpours.

This has caused some hardships for this hard-working people.
