Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz early Tuesday at the last leg of his three-nation tour of Latin America.

Upon arrival at the airport, Zarif was welcomed by Bolivia’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Carmen Almendras.

During his stay, the Iranian foreign minister will meet with Bolivia’s President Evo Morales and Foreign Minister Diego Pary as well as other senior officials.

Zarif will pursue issues related to bilateral ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Plurinational State of Bolivia, and hold talks on the latest regional and international developments.
