Iran and Tajikistan sign 18 cooperation agreements

Iran and Tajikistan have signed 18 cooperation agreements in political , economic, trade, technological, cultural and other fields in the presence of the presidents of the two countries.

The ministers of foreign affairs, industry, mining and trade, oil, education, etc. signed the deals.

The Tajik president arrived in Tehran on Sunday for talks with high-ranking Iranian officials.

Expansion of bilateral ties in all areas tops the agenda of talks.

The foreign policy of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is focused on expanding ties with neighbors. The Raisi administration says this will help blunt the impact of US sanctions.
