The competition with the main theme of agriculture, farmlands, nature, environment, people and family, has attracted 19,987 pieces from 58 countries, said a Farsi report by Tasnim New Agency.
The Iranian team organized by Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults managed to achieve a number of gold, silver and bronze medals as well as diplomas of honour.
Milad Mikaeili, 12, from Kermanshah Province, and Mohammad-Matin Vahidi, 13, from Southern Khorasan province, have achieved a gold medal with a diploma of honour each.
Meanwhile, Fatemeh Abiri, 6, from Tehran, Taravat Maleki, 12, from Gilan province, Behnam Danesh, 14, from Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, and Rastin Tajik, 9, from Khuzestan province were among other Iranian team members who managed to win a silver medal and diploma of honour each.
Alireza Shaker Nasab, 10, from Khuzestan province, Faranak Saeedi, 14, from Kermanshah province and Fatemeh Masoudi, 14, from Fars province achieved a bronze medal with a diploma of honour each.
Sayeh Boustanchi, 8, from Kurdistan province, has also won a diploma of honour from the competition.
Iran’s Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults had sent 1,300 paintings to this edition of the competition.
