In a ceremony held on Sunday, July 3, in the central Iranian city of Qom, the world’s largest and most valuable Quran was unveiled. The holy book, made up of silver and gold, has been hand-made using naked eyes. The book size is 180 x 135 cm.
During the ceremony, which was attended by Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, the world’s smallest handwritten Quran, with a size of 5 x 7 mm, was also unveiled.
