In the Monday meeting, the two sides exchanged views on mutual economic cooperation, the assessment of the outcome, over the past year, of the free trade agreement between Iran the Eurasian Economic Union as well as the development of that cooperation, and Tehran-Moscow cooperation in regional and international economic organizations.
During their discussions, the two officials expressed content with the enhancement of reciprocal economic ties, highlighting the necessity of redoubling efforts in that domain amid the critical condition caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
They also said they would like to move forward with Iran-Russia consultations with regards to international oil and natural gas markets as well as transportation corridors.
They also welcomed the holding of economic and trade conferences on issues of mutual interest as an ideal opportunity to maintain economic contact and relations between the two sides.
