Amir Abdollahian made the remark in a tweet he posted in response to the Israeli foreign minister’s recent threats against Iran.
Amir Abdollahian also said the fake Israeli regime foreign minister’s confused comments against Iran are reminiscent of a famous Persian saying that goes “the camel dreams of cotton seeds, sometimes eating a mouthful, sometimes seed by seed”, which denotes an unattainable dream and is the Iranian equivalent of the English proverb “the hungry cat dreams of mice”.
Amir Abdollahian added, “We will forcefully and rationally defend the rights, interests and progress of the Iranian people.
The Zionist regime’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid last week claimed, “Israel has capabilities, some of which the world, and even some experts in the field, cannot even imagine. And Israel will protect itself against the Iranian threat”.
Tel Aviv has made many threats of military action against Iran over the past years.
Meanwhile, Iran has said it will give a crushing response to any aggression against its territory.
