Iran, Turkey to hold talks on common issues, problems

Iran’s FM has said president Rouhani and Turkish counterpart, PM will talk on common issues and problems in Rouhani's upcoming visit to Turkey.

Mohammad Javad Zarif said that “relations with the neighboring countries is among the agendas of the 11th cabinet and in his trip to Turkey president Rouhani and Turkish top-ranking officials will hold talks on regional issues and problems common between the two countries.”

Iran’s Hassan Rouhani will visit Turkey on Monday with an invitation by Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gül.


Rouhani and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are also scheduled to meet. Via a joint press statement published in both Tehran and Ankara it was announced that “expansion and boosting relations between the two countries are emphasized, in accordance to the 1st meeting on high commission of bilateral cooperation.
