The memorial ceremony for Melika Mohammadi, a famous Iranian football player whose life was cut short following a tragic car accident, was held at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran this Sunday, in the presence of various football figures.
The body of the late national player was positioned at its designated place beside the grass field. Then officials and football lovers paid tribute to her body.
A funeral and memorial service for Malika Mohammadi took place at Azadi Stadium.
The footballer’s body will be repatriated to America, where her family resides, for burial.
