Iran unveils new nuclear achievement

The director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran says Iranian nuclear scientists have developed an infant screening kit using heavy water.

Mohammad Eslami added that the kit is capable of early diagnosis of 50 infantile diseases.

Eslami added that the kit is ready for mass production, adding Iran plans to launch centers for this purpose.

The director of the AEOI added that the kit is on the list of US sanctions. Iran has taken long strides in its homegrown nuclear program.

The Islamic Republic has made nuclear achievements under harsh US sanctions.
