Iran Strongly Condemns Israeli Fighter Jets’ Invasion of Syrian Territory

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has denounced the obvious assault of the Zionist regime’s fighter jets on the Syrian territory, calling on the United Nations to condemn the Israeli invasion and do its utmost to prevent such violent crimes against peace and security.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi on Saturday censured the Israeli fighter jets’ conspicuous assault on Syria, urging the United Nations to do its best to deter countries from committing such heinous crimes which shatter other states’ peace and undermine their security.

According to a Farsi report by Fars News Agency, he noted that the Israeli invasion of the Syrian territory, particularly, at a time when, the anti-terrorist front in Syria has gained an upper hand against the bloodthirsty terrorists in the country – expelling them from the Syrian cities and villages, indicates that the Zionist regime of Israel greatly benefits from supporting Takfiri [extremist] terrorists and seeks to protect its illegitimate interests by shoring them up.

Warning the world against the dire consequences the repetition of such provocative moves can lead to, Qassemi called on the UN to condemn the Israeli invasion and do its utmost to deter the bellicose and aggressive Zionist regime from perpetrating such brutal crimes against peace and security.
