All hospitals in northern Gaza out of service: Report

Gaza War

The office said in a statement on Telegram that 1,800 people were killed and 4,000 wounded in northern Gaza in the past month.

It added that civil defence teams have been hit while on service and some of them have been arrested or prevented from working.

It noted the area was “disaster-stricken” and appealed to the international community to uphold international humanitarian law and pressure Israeli authorities to allow the safe passage of aid.

Gaza’s Civil Defense has also censured international organizations for their inaction on the suffering of Palestinians amid a genocidal Israeli war on the besieged territory.

“All our appeals to international organizations and humanitarian institutions have not changed the current situation in Gaza,” Mahmoud Basal, the agency’s spokesman, said, adding, “Our message to the free people of the world is to increase pressure on the international community to enable service providers to fulfill their humanitarian duty.”

Israel waged its brutal Gaza onslaught on October 7, 2023, after the Palestinian Hamas resistance group carried out a historic military operation against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

So far, the occupying regime has killed at least 43,341 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 102,105 others, in Gaza.

Last month, Israel intensified its attacks in the northern Gaza Strip, cut the area off from the rest of the territory, and blocked nearly all food aid from entering the region.

On Friday, leaders of 15 UN agencies and other humanitarian organizations said the situation in northern Gaza is “apocalyptic” and that the entire population there is “at imminent risk of dying from disease, famine and violence”.

Basal said more than 100,000 people are left without food, water, or medicine in northern Gaza, noting that they are in dire need of life-sustaining resources.

He added that Israel has continued around-the-clock bombardment of civilian homes, especially in northern Gaza, and destroyed numerous buildings.

Israeli artillery and drones pose a significant threat to Gaza residents, instilling constant fear and panic among them, he lamented.

Over the past 400 days, the regime has refused to allow Civil Defense vehicles and equipment into Gaza, demonstrating a clear intent to keep the Civil Defense system paralyzed in the face of emergencies.

Iran vows to employ ‘anything necessary’ for defense

“Supporting national sovereignty and territorial integrity of countries is a principle for us and we have proven this in practice,” Baghaei told reporters at his weekly press conference on Monday.

“We will use all our material and spiritual resources to respond to the aggressions of the Zionist regime (Israel) and will use all our resources with all our might in this regard,” he emphasized.

Asked whether the intensity of Iran’s response to Israel will change in case of a ceasefire in Gaza, Baghaei added Israel’s genocide in Palestine and aggression in Lebanon are the main issues, and “we support initiatives to end crimes”.

Baghaei also denounced the destabilizing presence of the United States in the region and urged regional countries to settle regional problems through consultations.

The Iranian spokesman further said the ongoing situation in Gaza is a shame for the international community.

“In the 21st century, a real genocide is taking place but the international community has clearly failed. The Security Council is paralyzed by the obstacles created by the United States,” Baghaei added.

He emphasized that Iran’s defense of the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination is both a commitment and a moral and human duty.

“We have proven that we are steadfast in supporting the cause of Palestine. Stopping the killing of the Palestinian people is a priority now,” he stated.

Baghaei also stated that US elections are an internal issue but the performance of the elected presidents is important for Iran.

According to history, he continued, there has been not much difference between American statesmen regarding their behavior and approach toward Iran.

Israel informs UN of decision to withdraw from deal with UNRWA

UNRWA

In a letter addressed to UN General Assembly President Philemon Yang, Israel’s Foreign Ministry stated that the withdrawal relates to the 1967 agreement concerning UNRWA’s operations in support of Palestinian refugees.

The withdrawal will take effect after a three-month transition period.

Israel emphasized that it would still work with international partners, including other UN agencies, to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches civilians in the Gaza Strip.

However, the ministry highlighted the importance of safeguarding Israel’s security, signaling that aid facilitation should not compromise its safety.

The statement added that Israel expects the UN to contribute to these efforts, aligning humanitarian support with regional security needs.

The letter was also copied to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The body has been rendering essential relief services across the Palestinian territories and to Palestinian refugees elsewhere for more than seven decades.

The ban culminates Israeli authorities’ unrelenting efforts at smothering the flow of direly-needed aid supplies into the territories, including Gaza.

The move comes after the Israeli parliament last month approved a proposal to shut down UNRWA’s operations in the occupied Palestinian territory.

It also comes amid a 13-month-long genocidal war by the regime against the coastal sliver that has claimed the lives of more than 43,300 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and displaced almost the entirety of the territory’s 2.4-million-strong population.

The war has featured numerous attacks against facilities belonging to UNRWA.

Two members of IRGC killed in gyroplane crash in SE Iran

According to a statement released by the IRGC Ground Force, the aircraft was conducting a combat operation during a military drill when it crashed in Sirkan border area in the southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan on Monday morning.

General Hamid Mazandarani, the commander of Naynava Brigade from Iran’s Golestan province, along with the aircraft pilot, Hamed Jandaqi, a member of the IRGC Ground Force, were martyred in the incident.

The IRGC Ground Force has staged a war game, codenamed “Martyrs of Security”, in Sistan and Balouchestan since November 1.

In late October, 10 members of Iran’s law enforcement forces were killed in a terrorist attack in the Gohar Kuh district of Taftan.

The so-called Jaish al-Adl terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack, which was one of the deadliest in the province in recent months.

The group has carried out numerous terrorist attacks in Iran, primarily in the Sistan and Baluchestan province.

Iranian commander: Enemy spy agencies task terrorists with destabilizing region

General Mohammad Pakpour

General Pakpour made the remarks on Monday during a conference with tribal leaders in the southeastern Iranian border province of Sistan and Baluchestan.

He said enemy mercenaries in southeastern Iran are collaborating with the Israeli regime, stating that whenever the regime carries out aggression, their mercenaries simultaneously launch terrorist operations, arguing “it is by no means accidental.”

The top commander pointed out that these actions often coincide with significant events, such as the assassination of IRGC commander General Mohammad Reza Zahedi in Syria and attacks by the Zionist regime against Iran.

He said Iran has “accurate information” that corroborates the intelligence services have been holding meetings with the terrorists in various regional countries.

The commander noted that an individual killed on Sunday by IRGC forces in Iran’s border region was a ringleader of a terrorist group and a foreign national.

“According to their own confessions, the enemy forces cross the border and enters the country under the guise of fuel carriers,” General Pakpour noted, further explaining that “18 Tajik and Afghan citizens who were killed in Rask, Chabahar and Parud operations were suicide bombers who crossed the border under the guise of fuel carriers.”

Iran says Chamran 1 research satellite functioning properly, announces new launches

Iran Satellite

In a post on the social network, Hassan Salarieh stated that successful tests in various orbital positions confirm the proper functioning of all hardware and software components of the Chamran.

He emphasized the advancement and pride of Iran’s indigenous space industry, noting that the research satellite has effectively carried out its missions over the past few weeks.

Additionally, the satellite successfully executed a maneuver to change its orbital position to approach the body of the Qaem 100 satellite carrier, demonstrating the reliable performance of its systems.

In related news on Monday, Iran’s Ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, tweeted that the Iranian satellites Kowsar and Hodhod are scheduled to enter a 500-kilometer orbit.

Jalali said the satellites will be launched by a Soyuz rocket on Tuesday, at 2:48 a.m. Tehran time.

The two satellites were designed and built by young Iranian elites from a knowledge-based company with support from the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, the Iranian Space Agency, and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia announced.

The launch marks the first private sector venture of Iran into space aimed at solidifying the private sector’s entry into the space industry.

Dozens of countries press UN for arms embargo on Israel amid Gaza war

Gaza War

In a statement released on Sunday, Turkey’s Foreign Ministry said it had submitted the letter to the United Nations, signed by 52 countries and two organizations, calling for a halt in arms deliveries to Israel.

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in remarks also confirmed the move and accused countries exporting weapons to Israel of complicity in genocide.

“We have written a joint letter calling on all countries to stop the sale of arms and ammunition to Israel. We delivered this letter, which has 54 signatories, to the UN on November 1,” stated Fidan at a press conference in Djibouti where he was attending a Turkey-Africa partnership summit.

“We must repeat at every opportunity that selling arms to Israel means participating in its genocide,” the top Turkish diplomat added.

Arms have continued to flow from Western countries to Israel in recent months. The US, Germany, Britain, France and some other Western countries are the main culprits behind lethal arms to Israel.

The Zionist regime has continued its devastating offensive on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border incursion by Hamas last October, despite a United Nations Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire.

More than 43,000 people have since been killed, mostly women and children, and over 102,000 injured, according to local health authorities.

The Israeli onslaught has displaced almost the entire population of the territory amid an ongoing blockade that has led to severe shortages of food, clean water and medicine.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.

Iran planning ‘strong and complex’ response to Israel’s attack: WSJ

Khaibar Missile

Iran isn’t planning to limit its response to missiles and drones, the daily reported Sunday, citing the officials. The newspaper noted it remains to be seen whether the threats are real.

On October 26, Israeli fighter jets used US-controlled airspace over Iraq to fire projectiles at military installations in Iran’s Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces.

The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces confirmed that a significant number of the missiles were intercepted, and the Israeli warplanes were blocked from entering Iran’s airspace.

Iran has stressed it is resolved to respond to the act of aggression and will not abandon its right.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday warned the United States and Israel that they will definitely receive a teeth-breaking response for their assault.

WFP warns of looming famine in Gaza amid Israeli siege

Gaza War

The UN agency said it reached only 42 percent of the 1.1 million people targeted for food assistance in October due to a lack of supplies and access.

“North Gaza remains under siege since early October, with humanitarian agencies unable to reach people in need. Urgent international effort is required to allow the delivery of critical assistance and grant humanitarian agencies access to the area,” it added.

The Israeli army has continued a deadly onslaught in northern Gaza since early October to reportedly prevent the Palestinian resistance group Hamas from regrouping amid a siege on the area. Palestinians, however, accuse Israel of seeking to occupy the area and forcibly displace its residents.

More than 1,200 people have been killed in northern Gaza since the offensive began, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

The aggression is the latest episode in a brutal Israeli war on Gaza since an attack by Hamas in October last year, despite a UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire.

More than 43,300 people have since been killed, mostly women and children, and over 102,000 others injured, according to local health authorities.

The Israeli assault has displaced almost the territory’s entire population amid an ongoing blockade that has led to severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine.
