Iranian, Belgian FMs Call for Enhanced Bilateral Ties

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Belgian counterpart Didier Reynders have discussed issues of mutual interest in a meeting in Brussels.

During the Thursday talks, the two sides expressed satisfaction with the growing bilateral relations between Iran and Belgium, particularly in the economic field.

Zarif and Reynders also underlined the necessity of tapping into the existing opportunities and the capabilities of the two countries for expansion of mutual cooperation, especially in the fields of transportation and transit.

The Belgian top diplomat urged on all parties to the Iran nuclear deal to fully implement the JCPOA.

The two sides further conferred on regional issues and called for accelerated efforts to find political resolutions to the existing crises.

They also highlighted the need for preventing attempts by certain Europe-based elements to incite violence.
