Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has left the South African capital of Pretoria for Uganda's capital of Kampala at the head of a high-ranking political and business delegation.

During his visit to Kampala, Zarif plans to meet with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and Foreign Minister Sam Kutesa to discuss expansion of economic and political relations between Iran and Uganda.

He will also take part in the inauguration ceremony of a 50-bed hospital financed by the Islamic Republic.
