Covid infections keep declining in Iran

The number of Covid infections in Iran keeps declining with the Iranian Health Ministry figures on Saturday putting the daily caseload at 103 including 20 hospitalizations. The Friday tally was 185.

The Health Ministry also on Saturday put the number of fatalities over the past 24 hours at 4.

Earlier, the ministry said there no more red or orange city in terms of risk from Covid. But the deputy health minister of Iran warned of a new wave of the Coronavirus if people fail to get their booster shots of the vaccine.

The deputy minister said 26 million Iranians have not got their third shots, much less the forth.
