Austria Keen to Initiate Technological Cooperation with Iran

A member of an Austrian technology institute says her country is willing to start technological cooperation with Iran.

The member of Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT), Mariana Haselberger, has voiced Vienna’s interest in cooperating with Iran in the field of technology, saying her company intends to gain comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the Iranian culture and economy to effectively implement its projects in the Islamic Republic.

According to a Farsi report by the Mehr News Agency, she referred to science, technology and experience as the three main components in the implementation of her company’s joint projects with Iran.

“We will do our best to share our knowledge, information, and experience with the Iranian side over the course of this joint venture.”

Commenting on her visits to industrial complexes in Tabriz in the northwestern Iranian province of East Azarbaijan, she expressed the hope that by carrying out this project, the two sides would manage to ensure a close cooperation that would lead to the continuation of such collaborations in the future.

The AIT has signed an agreement with Iran’s Rab’-e Rashidi Special Science and Technology Zone and the Iranian Association for Management of Technology to start cooperation in manufacturing auto spare parts in East Azarbaijan Province.
