Iranian authorities have officially opened the new 20-story Plasco high-rise built to replace Tehran’s once tallest and most prominent building, which collapsed as a result of a deadly fire in 2017.

A group of Iranian scientists have invented a robot that can extinguish fires of up to 1000 Celsius degrees while it is engulfed in flames.

Following the tragic collapse of Plasco Building, many Iranian media outlets have sharply criticized the presence of Iranian artists and athletes in Tehran’s City Council - thanks to public votes - while they do not possess sufficient expertise and efficiency for managing urban affairs.
