Head of Iran’s Orthopedic Surgeons Association, Mohammad Razi, says about one thousand orthopedic surgeries have been conducted in the quake-hit province of Kermanshah over the past week.
Dozens of people in various Iranian cities, particularly Tehran and Shiraz, have queued up to donate their blood for those injured in the Sunday night’s earthquake.
Visitors touring Kermanshah City in western Iran also visit Taq-e Bostan [Arch of the Garden) to enjoy the moderate climate at the historical site on the last day of summer.
Iranian ensembles the Kamkars and Shams, the pianist Shahrdad Rohani, and Spanish Flamenco guitarist Antonio Rey are scheduled to give concerts at Bisotun, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Kermanshah Province.
