Reza Ramezani, spokesperson for the CAO, stated that the country’s airspace remains closed under a renewed Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) directive due to current national conditions.

He emphasized that all flight-related updates should be obtained exclusively through the Civil Aviation Organization’s official website at www.caa.gov.ir.

“In light of the current special circumstances in the country, ensuring passenger safety and maintaining calm are top priorities,” Ramazani said. “All public announcements regarding flight status will be published on the CAO website, and we strongly advise against going to airports in person.”

Saudi Crown Prince MBS: Israel trying to drag US into war with Iran

On Saturday evening, during a phone call with Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, bin Salman said that Saudi Arabia stands beside its brothers in the Islamic Republic, and that today, the entire Islamic world is united and unanimously supports Iran.

The Saudi Crown Prince condemned the Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran and expressed condolences and sympathy to Iran over the deaths of several Iranians during these attacks.

Pezeshkian, in turn, described the attacks by the Zionist regime on Iran as evidence of the inherently aggressive nature of that regime.

He added, “Since taking office as president, I have sought to strengthen peace, stability, and security in the region, but the Zionist regime has sabotaged and obstructed every effort in which we aimed for progress.”

Pezeshkian also emphasized that Saudi Arabia, given its position in the region and the Islamic world, can play a vital role in strengthening unity among Islamic countries in defense of the rights of all Muslims in the region.

Imposing demands through pressure failed US policy: Iranian president

The president made the comments on Saturday night in a phone conversation with Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, expressing gratitude for his sympathy with the Iranian government and people.

Pezeshkian said that his policy has been focusing on strengthening cooperation with neighboring and Muslim countries in pursuit of regional growth and progress. However, from the very beginning of his presidency, the Zionist regime has sought to disrupt this path and plunge the region into chaos, he added.

The US, despite consistently stating that the Zionist regime would not take any action against the Islamic Republic of Iran without their approval or coordination, is unfortunately supporting the regime’s attacks against Iran, and thinks that it can force its demands on Iran through pressure, President Pezeshkian noted.

The recent crimes by the Zionist regime clearly indicate that it inherently has an aggressive nature and does not value human lives, Pezeshkian said, adding, “I am confident that solidarity and coordination among Islamic countries can bring the Zionist regime to heel and put an end to its aggression, especially against the innocent people of Gaza.”

“The Islamic Republic of Iran is fully capable of defending itself and will not hesitate to counter any violation of its territory and the rights of its people,” the president further stated.

The Emir of Qatar, on his part, expressed solidarity with the government and people of Iran.

“Qatar strongly condemns this cowardly act of aggression and believes that the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves the right to respond,” he said.

He also stated that Qatar stands alongside Iran, and supports its doctrine of engagement and dialogue to resolve disputes and establish peace and security.

Qatar, in its diplomatic interactions, will convey Iran’s stance to other countries worldwide, and supports the collective cooperation and pressure necessary to stop the Zionist regime’s acts of aggression, he added.

The IRGC statement said the projectiles hit vital installations and caused a massive outage in the central parts of occupied Palestine. There are reports of casualties as a result of the missile and drone attack.

Iran-US negotiations unjustifiable amid Israeli attack: FM

Iran US Flags

In a telephone conversation with EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas on Saturday, Araqchi denounced the Israeli regime’s hostile attacks against Iran as a result of Washington’s direct supports for Tel Aviv.

The foreign minister said the continuation of indirect nuclear talks between Iran and the US would be unjustifiable while the Zionist regime’s savagery is in progress.

Araqchi also called for the global condemnation of the Israeli acts of aggression, its violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites and residential areas that have resulted in the martyrdom of Iranian military officials, university professors, women and children.

The foreign minister then called on the European Union officials and the permanent members of the UN Security Council to condemn the Israeli regime’s acts of aggression against Iran.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has given a decisive response to the Zionist regime’s aggression in order to protect its national sovereignty, people and security, and is also determined to exercise its legitimate right to retaliatory action,” Araqchi added.

For her part, Kallas voiced deep concern about the escalation of tensions in the region, expressing the EU’s readiness to support diplomatic efforts by the UNSC and other international organizations to help relieve the tensions and restore regional peace and security.

Iran and the US have held five rounds of talks since April 12, mediated by Oman, with the purpose of reaching a deal on Iran’s nuclear program and the removal of sanctions on Tehran.

While the next round of negotiations between Iran and the US was planned to be held in Muscat on June 15, the Israeli regime attacked a number of residential neighborhoods of Tehran as well as military and nuclear sites in other parts of Iran in the early hours of June 13.

Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, and at least six Iranian nuclear scientists have been martyred in the strikes.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has warned the Zionist regime that it will receive a severe punishment for the strike, saying, “With this crime, the Zionist regime has prepared for itself a bitter, painful fate, which it will definitely see.”

Ebrahim Rezaei, the commission’s spokesman said that the letter also calls for the removal of all non-safeguards cameras, the expulsion of extra-safeguards inspectors, and halting any reporting to the IAEA beyond Iran’s legal obligations under the safeguards agreement.

The commission also stressed the need to prevent access to Iran’s nuclear sites by individuals deemed undesirable.

In an extraordinary sessions held on Saturday, the commission’s members discussed the recent Israeli attacks inside Iran and the country’s response strategy.

Rezaei confirmed that parliament strongly supports the armed forces and is drafting legislation aimed at enhancing Iran’s defense budget for the current and future years.

Rezaei also reiterated full support for the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s decision to suspend all talks with the US.

Pope Leo appeals for ‘reason’ amid Israel-Iran attacks, calls for dialogue

Leo, in one of the strongest peace appeals yet of his five-week papacy, told an audience in St. Peter’s Basilica he was following the situation with “great concern.”

“In such a delicate moment, I strongly wish to renew an appeal to responsibility and to reason,” said the pope.

“The commitment to building a safer world free from the nuclear threat must be pursued through respectful encounters and sincere dialogue to build a lasting peace, founded on justice, fraternity, and the common good,” he added.

“No one should ever threaten the existence of another,” stated Leo.

“It is the duty of all countries to support the cause of peace, initiating paths of reconciliation and promoting solutions that guarantee security and dignity for all.”

Israel launched a large-scale attack on Iran early on Friday, targeting commanders, military targets, nuclear sites and residential areas.
