IFP: Jow Kandan is a beautiful region in the central district of Talesh County, Gilan Province. Gilan is in the north of Iran, bordering the Caspian Sea to the north, and the Alborz mountain range to the south. Its geography gives it a humid subtropical climate, and its abundant rainfall (the highest level in the country) means that its forests and woodlands are lush and verdant all year round.
