Iran parliament approves 4.5bn euro defense spending

Iran’s parliament has allocated 4.5 billion euros to strengthen the country’s defense might and strategic research.

Iranian lawmakers approved the figure which will be paid by the National Iranian Oil Company as part of next year’s budget plan.

Iran has developed a robust defense program over the past decades by utilizing domestic resources and capabilities.

It now domestically manufactures different types of weapons and military hardware and plans to boost military exports.
