Tehran International Book Fair

On Tuesday May 3, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani again praised the historic nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers (known as the JCPOA), saying that the Iranian nation has entered a new stage after the removal of anti-Iran sanctions as per the comprehensive deal.

Shahre-Aftab (Sun City) Complex, a newly-constructed fairground in Southern Tehran, will host the 29th edition of the Tehran International Book Fair on May 4-14.

Wiley is among international publishers which have maintained their relations with Iran in spite of sanctions, Kisray said.

Efforts have been made this year to allow books published by ethnic groups and followers of different faiths to make their presence felt in the exhibition, Jannati said.

The president said a free atmosphere should reign in publishing and at the same time values should be held in high esteem.
