Iran’s FM says ‘outrageous’ US attack on nuclear sites to have ‘everlasting consequences’

“The United States, a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, has committed a grave violation of the UN Charter, international law and the NPT by attacking Iran’s peaceful nuclear installations,” Araghchi said in a social media post.

“The events this morning are outrageous and will have everlasting consequences. Each and every member of the UN must be alarmed over this extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal behavior.”

He added that Iran “reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interest, and people”.

President Donald Trump has announced that United States forces attacked three Iranian nuclear sites in a “very successful attack”, claiming that the heavily fortified Fordow nuclear facility is “gone”.

Trump’s decision on Saturday to join Israel’s military campaign against Iran represents a major escalation of the conflict.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan,” Trump posted on Truth Social, adding that the military planes were now on their way home.

“NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!” he added.

Later, in a televised Oval Office address that lasted just more than three minutes, Trump said that Iran’s future held “either peace or tragedy”, and that there were many other targets that could be hit by the US military.

“Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated,” Trump added.

The strikes came as Israel and Iran have been engaged in more than a week of aerial combat, with deaths and injuries in both countries.

Iran Nuclear Program

The agency announced the three nuclear sites operate under the full supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and the “brutal assault” on them violates international law.

The AEOI said the aggression was carried out “under the indifference–or rather the complicity–of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).”

“The international community is expected to condemn this lawlessness based on jungle rules and to stand with Iran in asserting its legitimate rights,” read the statement, adding that the organization assures the great Iranian nation that despite enemy’s sinister conspiracies, it will not allow the progress of this national industry to be halted.

“The organization has placed on its agenda all necessary actions to defend the rights of the noble Iranian people, including legal follow-up measures.”

Earlier, in a social media post, Trump brazenly claimed responsibility for the attacks that amount to a violation of Iran’s territorial integrity and a breach of international conventions.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” he claimed.

“All planes are now outside of Iranian airspace. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow.”

Iranian Foreign Ministry

In a statement following the US attacks on Iranian nuclear sites and facilities of Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned “the savage military aggression” as a blatant and unprecedented violation of the most fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter and the rules of international law.

It said, the U.S. military aggression against the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of a United Nations member state—committed in criminal collusion with the genocidal Zionist regime—once again demonstrates the depths of depravity and moral corruption that govern U.S. policies, and the intensity of the hostility and hatred harbored by the U.S. ruling establishment toward the peace-loving and independence-seeking people of the Islamic Iran.

The statement added that the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves its right to resist with full force against U.S. military aggression and the crimes committed by this rogue regime, and to defend Iran’s security and national interests.

It said the assault also violates UN Security Council Resolution 2231 and delivers a severe blow to the nuclear non-proliferation regime, all committed by a permanent member of the UN Security Council.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry also called on the UN Security Council to convene an emergency session to strongly condemn the U.S. act of aggression against Iran and to hold the United States accountable for its flagrant violations of international norms and principles.

It pointed out that the responsibility of the IAEA and its Director General—who, through clear bias in favor of warmongering parties, laid the groundwork and justification for this recent disaster—is now more evident than ever.

Iran Judiciary: Mossad spy executed following full legal process

Iran Prison

According to Iran’s Judiciary Media Center, Majid Mossayebi was arrested and prosecuted on charges of moharebeh (waging war against God) and corruption on earth through espionage and intelligence cooperation in favor of the Zionist regime. After the full legal process and confirmation of the sentence by Iran’s Supreme Court, he was executed on Sunday morning.

Based on the case documents, Mossayebi attempted to provide Mossad with classified information, details about sensitive locations inside Iran, and identities of specific individuals. In return, he received cryptocurrency as payment.

The report states that he had established contact with a Mossad handler named “David” in one of the Persian Gulf countries and had been submitting weekly reports through a secure communication channel.

After being identified and arrested, and following trial sessions held in the presence of both the defendant and his lawyer, the Revolutionary Court in Isfahan sentenced Mossayebi to death on charges of moharebeh and corruption on earth for collaborating with hostile foreign governments and espionage.

Iranian army launches dozens of drones toward occupied territories

Iran Drone

In an official statement, the Army announced that dozens of combat drones were launched within the past 24 hours toward targets across the occupied territories.

“Multiple types of strike UAVs were deployed, and incoming reports indicate that most of the drones successfully hit their designated targets,” the statement said.

These drone operations are part of Iran’s broader military response to Zionist regime’s ongoing attacks. Since the onset of the Zionist regime’s aggression, Iran has been fighting back fiercely across multiple domains including ballistic missile strikes, cyber operations, and now sustained drone warfare.

Israeli attacks killed over 400, wounded more than 3,050: Iran’s Health Ministry

In a statement on social media, he said nine days of attacks have killed more than 400 Iranians, including 54 women and children, and wounded 3,056 others.

Kermanpour added most of the casualties have been civilians.

“Among the injured, 2,220 have been treated and discharged from Ministry of Health hospitals, while 232 received outpatient care at the scene of the attacks. During this period, our dedicated medical teams across the country have performed 457 surgeries on the wounded.”

Netanyahu biggest obstacle to regional peace: Erdogan

Addressing Arab League diplomats during a meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul on Saturday, Erdogan urged countries with influence over Israel not to listen to its “poison” and to seek a solution to the fighting via dialogue without allowing a wider conflict.

Israeli attacks on Iran show that Netanyahu “and his government … do not want any issues or any matters to be solved diplomatically,” said Erdogan.

“Netanyahu’s Zionist ambitions have no other purpose than to drag our region and … the whole world into a big disaster,” he added.

Erdogan accused the Western leaders of providing “unconditional support” to Israel. He said Turkiye would not allow borders in the Middle East to be redrawn “in blood”.

“It is vital for us to show more solidarity to end Israel’s banditry – not only in Palestine but also in Syria, in Lebanon and in Iran,” he told the OIC gathering.

The 57-member OIC, founded in 1969, says its mission is to “safeguard and protect the interests of the Muslim world in the spirit of promoting international peace and harmony”.

It will be ‘very dangerous’ if US gets involved in war: Iran

He spoke to reporters in Istanbul on his way home from talks in Geneva.

Araghchi added American military involvement “would be very unfortunate”.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in a message on Wednesday, said the Iranian nation will “firmly stand against” an imposed war.

In a televised message, amid the continued Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei said the Iranian nation will never surrender to “any form of imposition.”

In the wake of continued Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution commended the Iranian people for their “composed, courageous, and timely” conduct.

He said the brave response of people reflected the nation’s growing maturity, as well as its spiritual and intellectual strength.

“The Iranian nation will firmly stand against an imposed war, just as it will resolutely resist an imposed peace,” he said in a televised message.

“This is a nation that will never surrender to any form of imposition.”

Referring to the recent war-mongering rhetoric of US President Donald Trump, Ayatollah Khamenei warned against any American military intervention.

“Those with wisdom, who truly understand Iran, its people, and its long history, never speak to this nation with the language of threats. Iran will not yield,” he asserted.

“The Americans must understand—any US military incursion will undoubtedly lead to irreversible consequences.”

Middle East faces ‘Israel problem’: Turkish FM

At a meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul, Fidan called on Muslim countries to unite in support of Iran against Israel.

The region faces an “Israel problem” in light of its attacks on Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and now Iran, he said.

“There is no Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, Yemeni or Iranian problem but there is clearly an Israeli problem.”

“Unfortunately, this meeting is being held at a time when the Islamic world is suffering greatly. Israel, which has stained Gaza with blood, is now attacking Iran. We must discuss joint steps to end this suffering,” added Fidan.

He called for an end to the “unlimited aggression” against Iran, stressing, “We must prevent the situation from deteriorating into a spiral of violence that would further jeopardise regional and global security.”

His remarks came as the Israeli regime’s aggression against the Iranian nation completed one week, starting with the assassination of senior Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians last Friday.

In response, Iran has carried out multiple waves of missile and drone attacks as part of Operation True Promise III, inflicting crushing blows on the illegitimate Zionist regime and its military and intelligence apparatus across the occupied territories.
