Trump, Associates Don’t Know Even ABCs of Politics: Iran

Trump, Associates Don’t Know Even ABCs of Politics

Mahmoud Vaezi, the chief of staff of the Iranian president, said the US was trying to boost Trump’s election campaign by targeting Iran.

“The covert objective that they had and did not reveal was [that they wanted to use their anti-Iran move to reinforce their campaign for] the US election, given that Mr. Trump doesn’t have a good standing in the presidential race,” he said.

“He is seeking tools to change the atmosphere of the election [in his own favour]. It seems the United States’ move was not useful for him and was not effective even with regards to domestic presidential elections,” he added.

“So I think the international community and the UN Security Council rejected the US demand and once again expressed their support for the JCPOA and Resolution 2231,” he added.

The official underlined that the US should not have tried to mobilize countries against Iran as it was a foregone conclusion.

“Whatever the US did and whatever efforts it made over the past 32 or 33 days didn’t have any political or legal grounds. In my idea, if someone knows the ABCs of politics and economy, they won’t take such a gamble,” he added.

“From the very beginning, it was clear that the Americans would lose. Not only Iranian, but even US diplomats and legal experts have said time and again that they don’t know on what basis the Trump administration is referring to a deal that it has proudly withdrawn from,” Vaezi said.

He said UN Security Council members rejected Washington’s demand and they reiterated that the US request has no political and legal basis.

“I want to thank the international community, permanent members of the UN Security Council, the EU and European countries, especially our two friends China and Russia for adopting very straightforward and clear positions over the past month,” he added.

“It seems that everything is clear today. The trigger (snapback mechanism) that Mr. Trump and Mr. Pompeo were seeking and publicizing had no supporters and did not go into force,” said Vaezi.

“This should be an object lesson for the US government not to link [election] campaign issues with political issues,” he said.

Al Saud Policies Turn Riyadh into ‘Humiliated Creature’ among Arabs: Iran

Al Saud Policies Turn Riyadh into ‘Humiliated Creature’ among Arabs

In a statement on Thursday, Saeed Khatibzadeh dismissed the charges as unfounded and delusional.

“As the base and birthplace of the ideologies of Takifiri terrorist groups and the main financial and logistical supporter of terrorism in the region, Saudi Arabia has, for years, been pursuing a blame-game policy and seeking to distort realities in order to escape the realities and not to be held accountable for its crimes,” said the spokesman.

“The Saudi regime’s support for, and alignment with the US in its failed policy of ‘maximum pressure’ on Iran, its attempts to expand relations with the usurper Zionist regime of Israel, and paying billions of dollars of Saudi people’s money in ransom have not only failed to produce any results for Saudi Arabia, but also turned it into a humiliated creature among Arab countries,” he added.

“Saudi Arabia has become delirious due to back-to-back defeats it has suffered both on the ground and on the political front in Yemen, and Riyadh wants to shirk responsibility for the war crimes it has committed against Yemeni women and children,” the spokesman noted.

“In line with its responsible approach in the region, the Islamic Republic of Iran has, time and again, reminded the world of the Saudis’ miscalculations which have imposed a heavy price on the region, and keeps emphasizing its fundamental policy of boosting diplomatic and dialogue-oriented talks in the region and the promotion of relations with all neighbours,” he said.

Iran Says Guardian Trying to ‘Blackwash’ Its Human Rights Situation

In a statement on Wednesday, Saeed Khatibzadeh said Iran believes the politically-motivated behaviour and selective moves of the US and certain European governments have always dealt the heaviest blow to the principle of human rights.

He also described the approach, remarks, and moves of certain European countries as an instance of interference in Iran’s internal affairs, and said authorities at the relevant level have taken, and will continue to take, necessary measures in reaction to the move.

“It is quite surprising and unbelievable to us that these countries have not only refused to show any reaction to the blatant violation of the Iranian nation’s rights caused by the US’ inhumane policy of maximum pressure and its cruel and anti-human sanctions, but are also fanning its flames and practically joining it through their inaction,” he added.

His comments came after Guardian claimed France, Germany and the UK are summoning Iranian ambassadors in a coordinated diplomatic protest against Iran’s detention of dual nationals and its treatment of political prisoners.

Guardian says it has seen a letter handed to the Iranian ambassador to the UK, Hamid Baeidinejad, which claims “Iran’s policy of arbitrary detention” is seriously undermining its international standing.

The report says the Iranian envoy had been summoned by the Foreign Office on Tuesday to meet senior officials, and the Iranian ambassadors in Paris and Berlin are also being called in this week.

The letter claims British citizens, including dual nationals, are languishing in Iranian prisons, often under harsh conditions and without justification. It argues they have been arbitrarily detained and deserve to be reunited with their families.

Iranian, Swedish Diplomats Discuss Ways to End Yemen War

In the Wednesday talks, the two sides conferred on the latest developments and situation in Yemen including the difficult conditions caused by the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the ways to resolve the existing problems, and possible avenues for dispatching food and medical aid to the Yemeni people.

They also underlined the need for finding a political solution to end the Yemen war by holding intra-Yemeni negotiations.

Khaji described the bombings and military attacks against the innocent people of Yemen and the blockade imposed on them as an inhumane move in violation of international principles and regulations, and called on the international community to prevent its continuation.

Why Is It Important for Students to Know History of Malcolm X

Why Is It Important for Students to Know History of Malcolm X

He was one of America’s most recognizable leaders who served a significant role during the civil war. During his significant rise, he proposed a state solely dedicated to the African Americans in which they would be rid of white supremacy and politics. Not one to back away from a fight, he advocated “by any means necessary” to fight against racial injustice and was known to quote, “I am for violence if non-violence means we continue postponing a solution to the American black man’s problem.” He would’ve been 95 years old now had he not been shot to death on 21 February 1965 while at an Afro-American Unity rally in New York.

Even today, the topic of racial discrimination is relevant and rife in several sectors. The line of struggle against racial discrimination runs through humanity’s long history and affects all areas of our life. This topic has become acute again due to the recent brutal racial killing of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter campaign. As such, the attention of journalists and researchers has focused again on the fight against racial prejudice. The topic is also gaining popularity in student work and research. The famous fighters against racial discrimination like Malcolm X are in the centre of many essays, for example, https://eduzaurus.com/free-essay-samples/malcolm-x/ and their number is growing every year, which is a tool to increase awareness among students further and uproot racial injustice.

Malcolm X’s Way

This is exactly what Malcolm X wanted when he joined the Nation of Islam (NOI) in the 1960s. Born on 19 May 1925, he had had a difficult childhood where his father was killed in a racist attack. He joined the NOI when he spent six and a half years of his life in prison and converted to Islam because the NOI believed Christianity was a religion forced by white supremacists on the African American community. He wanted to fight for his fellow African American’s rights because of the racist abuse his family had suffered. As the leading spokesperson for the Black Muslims, Malcolm X did everything he could to get newer recruits into the NOI. He became a minister of Mosque No. 7 in Harlem, where his sermons gained attraction from new inductees. Due to his relentless and inspiring speeches, the number of followers in the NOI grew up 400 in 1952 to 40,000 in 1960.

When he was suspended from the Nation of Islam in 1964, Malcolm X embarked on Mecca’s spiritual journey, where he completed the Hajj. He then spent the rest of his life building a new organization that would fight for his fellow Muslim’s equal rights. He was on a journey to unite Muslims of “all colors, from blue-eyed blonds to black-skinned Africans,” which he believed would conquer all racial problems.

His autobiography Malcolm X was published after his death in 1965 in which he was quoted to say, “If I can die having exposed any meaningful truth that will help destroy the racist cancer that is malignant in the body of America – then, all of the credit is due to Allah” which depicts his absolute faith in his religion. Had he lived, he would have been an influential spokesperson for all the Black Muslims who have faced discrimination in one way or another.

Years after his death, students in college or school are asked to provide a plagiarism-free paper on Malcolm X and his role in the development of black people in America. However, when writers are writing their university assignment on Malcolm X, they cannot do without mentioning Martin Luther King Jr, an African American civil rights leader who fought against racial injustice in a non-violent manner. Thanks to their contribution, the Civil Rights Act was drafted in 1964, making it illegal for anyone to discriminate based on race, color, gender or religion.

5 Ways to Improve Your Home-Based Business

5 Ways to Improve Your Home-Based Business

However, just because the barrier to entry for this landscape is smaller these days, doesn’t mean that you won’t have challenges to face on the road to success. If you’re struggling with your home-based business, and you want to make sure that you’re getting the most out of your venture, the following tips will help.

Start Small

No-one ever said that you have to quit your job and go all-in right away. Some people launch their companies as a side hustle while they’re working full-time. Others reduce their hours at work so that they can take out a private student loan to pay for education in order to earn a business degree while they’re making a regular income. It’s up to you how much time you want to dedicate to your new venture. However, taking it slow and starting small will reduce the amount of risk you need to deal with.

Get the Right Help

As a business owner working from home, it’s tempting to think you should be able to do everything yourself. There are tools out there to assist with everything from accounting to website building these days. However, sometimes the best thing you can do is admit that you need some specialist support. Rather than trying your hand at everything and ending up with various mistakes that you need to rectify, get the right help straight away. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and money this way.

Do Your Research

Just because you’ve finished your degree doesn’t mean that you’re done with the homework. You still need to learn how to do your research on everything from your target customers, to your competition. The more you know about the people you’re selling to, the companies that you’re fighting against, and the market you’re in – the better. Remember, having the right information will help you to make more informed decisions when your company starts to grow.

Get the Right Balance

Don’t focus so heavily on running your company that you forget you’re a human being. You’re going to need time out to focus on other parts of your life, like your family and your hobbies too. Make sure that you follow a careful schedule that tells you how much time you should devote to your venture every day. This includes figuring out when you should be shutting off and ignoring your company each night. It’s important to have the right work-life balance.

Commit to Constant Growth

Finally, make sure that you never settle for just good enough. Even if you think that you’re achieving some pretty great things with your company right now, it makes sense to keep looking for ways to improve. Use analytics and research to figure out your best opportunities for improvement and learn from every decision you make. Running any business is a challenge, but you’ll get there with dedication.

US Launched Economic War on Iran Based on Miscalculations: Rouhani

US Launched Economic War on Iran Based on Miscalculations: Rouhani

Speaking in a weekly cabinet session on Wednesday, President Hassan Rouhani noted that Iran will emerge victorious in this war.

“Two and a half years ago, the US began an economic war against Iran based on illusions and wrong miscalculations. Their aim was to block all economic paths to Iran,” said the president.

He said the US has failed to achieve its objectives like Saddam Hussein, who imposed an eight-year war on Iran, was unable to fulfil his goal of toppling the Iranian Establishment.

“Like Saddam Hussein, the Americans were of the conviction that they would enter Tehran a few months after launching an economic war, and they were under the delusion that a red carpet would be rolled out for them at Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini airports,” he said.

“Like Saddam Hussein, the Americans’ first goal was to oust the Islamic Republic of Iran’s system and, at least, tear up and destroy Resolution 2231, but they failed to attain any of those objectives,” he said.

President Rouhani once again touched upon Washington’s failure to get its anti-Iran plans pass through the UN Security Council.

“It is unprecedented in the United States’ history that they take a plan to the UN Security Council after months of arrangements, and finally fail,” he said.

“Indonesia, Niger, Tunisia and 13 UN Security Council members bravely stood up to the US whereby America’s grandeur was shattered.” President Rouhani said.
