2k women to watch Iran FIFA qualifiers in stadiums

Iranian football officials have decided to allow two-thousand women to go to a Tehran’s stadium to watch the FIFA world cup qualifiers against Iraq and the United Arab Emirates.

The two matches are scheduled to be held in the Azadi Stadium of the Iranian capital of Tehran. There will be only ten-thousand spectators for each match amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The face-offs against Iraq and the UAE are part of the final qualifying round for the Qatar World Cup and will be held on January 27 and February 1, respectively.
