The city of Mashhad in northeastern Iran has been selected as the Asian capital of Islamic culture in 2017, and preparations are underway to introduce the holy city’s culture to the world.
A direct passenger train service has been launched between Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad and Azerbaijan’s landlocked region of Nakhchivan, a report said.
"There is no obstacle to the development of mutual cooperation between Iran and Kyrgyzstan," President Rouhani said in a meeting with Kyrgyzstan's ambassador to Tehran.
