“Ex-President Saleh Killed in Zone Controlled by UAE Air Force”

Reports quote him as saying that UAE fighter jets, which belong to the Saudi coalition, carried out airstrikes on Ali Abdullah Saleh’s positions last night.

According to a Farsi report by Mehr News Agency, Al-Mayadeen has quoted the Yemeni official as saying that reports on the death of Mohammad Abdullah al-Qousi, the pro-Saleh Interior Minister, are not confirmed.

Meanwhile, Yemen’s Interior Ministry has issued a statement confirming the death of Ali Abdullah Saleh, the country’s ousted president, during clashes in capital Sana’a.
The statement did not mention how he was killed or who killed him. It just stated that “the crisis created by traitorous militants ended in death of their leader and a number of criminal elements.”

The ministry accused Saleh of creating “chaos” in the country, cooperating with “militias of aggression” and providing help to “extremist militias.”
The ministry added that the Yemeni forces, backed by fighters from the popular Ansarullah Houthi movement, were in full control of all positions previously held by Saleh’s militias in Sana’a.

“The Interior Ministry announces the end of the crisis of the treason militia and the killing of its leader and a number on his criminal partisans,” the statement reads.
“They killed a number of people, closed the roads, stirred up chaos, disturbed the peace and co-operated directly and indirectly with the aggressive countries [Saudi coalition]. They attempted to shut down the city’s entrances as the [Saudi coalition] jets kept bombarding to mount the attacks so as to carry out their plots and intensify civil war. This forced the Interior Ministry to act quickly to resolve the situation.”

The Yemeni Interior Ministry described this as a “victory” saying that the Interior Ministry thanks Almighty God for this decisive victory in the battle for freedom and independence.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s Ansarullah Leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, has stated that by this (victory) Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Britain suffered a historic defeat.

“Today is a wonderful and great day. Today is the day in which the conspiracy collapsed. The plot against Yemen was defeated within 3 days and we congratulate the Yemeni people,” added al-Houthi.

Since November 29, armed clashes sparked by forces loyal to Saleh, have continued against Houthi forces that are at the forefront of a retaliatory war against the Saudi-led military coalition. Saleh loyalists accused the Houthi fighters of raiding their bases across Sana’a and beyond, an allegation that the Houthi leader has strongly denied.

Saleh stepped down following a 2011 uprising after being in power for 33 years. His resignation in 2012 paved the way for Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi to assume power as Yemen’s president. Hadi, however, resigned in 2014 and fled the country to Saudi Arabia.
The Houthi movement assumed responsibility for running state affairs after Hadi’s escape threw Yemen into a state of uncertainty and threatened a total security breakdown in the country, where an al-Qaeda affiliate was present.

Later on, Saleh joined forces with the Houthis and the Yemeni army to defend the country against the brutal Saudi aggression, which started in March 2015.

On Saturday, however, Saleh officially announced the end of his alliance with Houthis, claiming that the movement had imposed hunger on the country and worked as an ally of Iran.

Iran Dismisses Kushner’s Baseless Allegations

In a Monday statement, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said if it was not for the recent attempts and sacrifices of the Islamic Republic of Iran to confront terrorist threats and extremism in the region, especially Iraq and Syria, the streets of the United States would now be witnessing terrorist and violent acts by extremist groups.

“For this reason, the international community should appreciate Iran’s principled and rational sacrifices and policies in standing against the extremist and terrorist currents in the region.”

Qassemi went on to say that connecting the Islamic Republic of Iran to aggression and extremism by the US president’s senior advisor is in fact a response that shows the anger, frustration and depression of US officials in the face of Iran’s efforts to confront terrorism.

Therefore, he added, they have resorted to lame excuses against Iran as their survival depends on creating a tense atmosphere against the Islamic Republic in the region.

“These allegations are made at a time that Iran enjoys good relations with its neighbours in the region,” noted the spokesman.

Kushner appeared Sunday at the Saban Forum, an annual meeting of American and Israeli leaders organized by the Brookings Institution.

At this forum, Kushner claimed that the Iranians, with “their nuclear ambitions and their expansive regional mischief,” along with the threat from the ISIS and extremist ideology could best be addressed after the distraction of the Israeli-Palestinian issue was resolved.

He also noted that there had been “significant” progress in uniting Middle East countries against what he claimed was “Iranian aggression”.

50 Surgeries to Resemble Angelina Jolie Turn Iranian Girl into Corpse Bride!

50 Surgeries to Resemble Angelina Jolie Turn Iranian Girl into Corpse Bride! It is not yet clear whether Iranian Instagram celebrity Sahar Tabar wanted to resemble Angelina Jolie or had other intentions, and nobody knows how much of her appearance in the photographs was resulted from the surgeries she had undergone.

The Belgian news site Sud Info reported that Tabar had undergone “50 plastic surgery operations in just a few months” and had lost 40 kilograms to physically resemble actress Angelina Jolie.

The Saudi-owned news channel al-Arabiya quickly picked up the story claiming that “many” believe her enthusiasm to imitate her screen idol has turned her into Tim Burton’s ‘Corpse Bride’ cartoon character. ‘Corpse Bride’ is a 2005 British-American stop-motion-animated musical fantasy film.

Soon after, websites in India, and the United States started to cover the story. There are several contradictions as the Belgian website listed Tabar as being 22 years old, but other news sites have reported that she is only 19. Some others also claimed that she is 29.

50 Surgeries to Resemble Angelina Jolie Turn Iranian Girl into Corpse Bride! The source of information for most of these sites was Tabar’s official Instagram account on which she has nearly 500,000 followers.

It was on November 28 that another Instagram account using Tabar’s name and photo, in a post, rejected the allegations of having as many as 50 surgeries:

“Dear followers … I must say I only had one surgery, not 50 surgeries, and foreign websites and channels were very biased in the way they talked about my photos. I thought these people are probably living in the 18th century and they haven’t seen or heard of technology or makeup and they are really surprised,” reads the post.

As she talks of technology and makeup, it may suggest that her photos might have been digitally altered, and she may achieved the bizarre look in the images partly via the application of cosmetics or prosthetics.

50 Surgeries to Resemble Angelina Jolie Turn Iranian Girl into Corpse Bride! The many articles about this Iranian girl come as there is no quote from a direct interview with her. On the other hand, there is no post from her on social media affirming the number of surgeries, her dieting, or if her actual motivation was to resemble Hollywood idol. The British newspaper The Sun has published a video of Sahar in which she speaks Farsi, but there is no mention of Jolie’s name.

Like many other viral stories, Sahar Tabar’s story was circulated without paying attention to the important matter of sourcing. The only thing, which is focused by the foreign media, are the weird pictures. All in all, nobody can firmly conclude that she indeed used Jolie as a model, or to what extent she has undergone cosmetic surgeries.

Ingredient to serve four:

  • 200 gr of fish (it is better to use narrow-barred Spanish mackerel, seer fish, orange-spotted grouper, or white grunts) for every person
  • 500 gr of vegetables including dill, coriander and a small amount of fenugreek
  • A head of garlic
  • A medium-sized onion
  • Four cups of rice
  • 100 gr of black Tamarind
  • Oil, turmeric, salt and pepper as much as needed

Recipe:

First, chop the onion and sauté in a relatively large pot. Then add garlic and continue to sauté while adding pepper and turmeric. Now it is time to add the vegetables that you have washed and chopped earlier. Fry the vegetables with other materials well.

Put the Tamarind in about 6 cups of warm water, sift it, and then add the sauce to the vegetables and leave it to boil.

Now add the already disemboweled and salted fish to the boiling mixture and let them cook well. Then bring out the cooked fish from the dish and leave it aside.

Add the rice to Tamarind sauce and vegetables, and wait until the water is vapoured.

Lower the heat and place the fish on the top of rice and wait for the rice to be steamed.

Iranian Delegation to Visit Saudi Arabia for Hajj Talks

The delegation will be headed by Hamid Mohammadi, the chief of Iran’s Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization.

The decision to send the delegation was made during a recent meeting between Mohammadi and the Leader’s representative in Hajj affairs Ali Qazi-Asgar.

Mohammadi is expected to hold talks with the Saudi side on the arrangements for the Iranians’ pilgrimage next year, a Farsi report by Mashregh said.

Qazi-Asgar urged all heads of working groups to prepare and present their reports to be used for the next year’s hajj planning.

He also called on the affiliated organizations to develop a comprehensive plan to offer appropriate services to the Iranians during the Hajj season.

Iran resumed hajj pilgrimage last year after a one-year absence in previous year due to the deadly stampede in Mina which left hundreds of Iranians dead.

Iran held Saudi Arabia responsible for the catastrophe saying the Saudi government failed to handle the tragic event appropriately.

Iran Denies Reports of Fire in Its Embassy in Yemen

Speaking to Fars News Agency on Monday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi said the country has not received any report on a fire in its embassy in Sana’a.

He also pointed to Xinhua‘s claim that 20 staff members of the embassy were trapped inside the building, and stressed that no Iranian diplomat is in Yemen.

The embassy might have suffered damages caused by the ongoing clash between the two warring sides, but there is no report of a fire, he added.

Xinhua claimed that its reporter on the scene had seen a fire breaking out after the embassy was attacked by heavy weapons.

The embassy is located near the presidential palace and is close to the residence of a son of Saleh in southwestern Sana’a.

Xinhua said more than 100 dead bodies could be seen lying on the streets leading to the diplomatic complex in the Hadda area.

An official from the Houthi-controlled Interior Ministry told Xinhua that at least 200 militants from both warring sides had been killed and more others were wounded in the clashes near the Iranian embassy.

The embassy is located near the highlands controlled by Houthi Ansarullah movement, where the Saudi-led coalition launched airstrikes for five times on Saturday midnight.

Back on Sunday, Qassemi had urged all Yemeni groups to settle their internal differences through dialogue.

In reaction to the recent developments in Yemen, Qassemi said, “We hope Yemeni forces would resolve their differences through dialogue to prevent foreign enemies from taking advantage of the current situation.”

In his Sunday statement, he also expressed regret over the recent clashes in Yemen and called on all Yemeni forces to keep calm and show self-restraint.

Referring to the continuation of brutal foreign aggression against Yemenis that resulted in the destruction of the infrastructures, a long siege, blackout, and mass murder of the Yemeni people, he raised hope that all Yemeni political parties and movements would show solidarity, and support the national and united front against aggression of foreign enemies.
