110 European Firms Ready for Oil Cooperation with Iran: Official

In an interview with ISNA, Head of the Association of Iranian Petroleum Industry Equipment Manufacturers, Reza Khayamian said the bid to establish cooperation with the European small and medium-sized firms was made by the Association to the Iranian government.

“The Association of Iranian Petroleum Industry Equipment Manufacturers along with other related departments is seeking to invite a number of SMEs from Europe to attend a seminar in Tehran and establish cooperation with the Iranian government and private firms in oil areas,” he said.

110 European firms have already expressed their preparedness to attend the seminar and launch joint projects with the Iranian companies in oil and gas fields, he added.

“We are seeking to invite them to Tehran and link them to the Iranian firms so that they can launch joint projects in oil areas,” he noted.

US President Donald Trump’s decision to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal back in May has hampered oil connections between Iran and a number of other countries. Today, the countries are seeking ways to bypass the sanctions and preserve their relations with the Islamic Republic in oil areas.

To this end, the Association of Iranian Petroleum Industry Equipment Manufacturers has proposed to prepare the ground for joining Iranian and European small and medium-sized companies together. It also called for dividing large oil projects into small ones so that each European firm could press ahead with one of them.

Earlier, he said the European Union has welcomed the proposal and said the small and medium-sized firms from Europe can finance their projects by 20m euros through the European Investment Bank.

The EU has also called on the firms to join Iran’s private sector in pressing ahead with the projects.

According to Khayamian also said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has also welcomed the proposal saying oil projects should be divided into small projects.

Iran Denies Meddling in US Mid-term Elections

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi, in a statement on Saturday, dismissed the recent baseless claims by the US government’s intelligence, judicial and security authorities about Iran’s meddling in the US mid-term elections.

He noted that the attempts made by the US officials to say Iran has been involved in the US mid-term polls are an unfounded allegation, possibly caused by an unknown illusion.

The US national security advisor had earlier made a similar allegation without providing any evidence, the Iranian official added.

“The White House has for some time been trying to raise allegations against other countries for specific political reasons, and every day adds a country to its fictional list,” said the Iranian spokesperson.

“The president of the United States had claimed that since he took office, Iran has been busy with its internal affairs, alleging that Tehran is so weak that it cannot even think of regional issues and is just thinking about its survival.”

“Then how can such an ‘introverted’ country (as the US officials say) be interfering in the United States’ parliamentary elections?” concluded Qassemi.

US federal intelligence, security and law enforcement agencies issued a joint-statement on Friday alleging active foreign influence campaigns being waged by multiple nations against the US with only a few weeks remaining until the midterm elections.

In the announcement, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence of the United States warned of “ongoing campaigns” by Russia, China and Iran to influence in the midterm elections and the 2020 race, largely through social media.

Turkish Army Makes New Incursion Deep Into Iraq

Local sources in Iraq’s Kurdistan underlined that the incursion has been made into Sidakan region on the suburb of Erbil province in northeastern Iraq.

“According to the sources, Turkish troops are getting closer to Sidakan region in Erbil province,” a report by IRNA said.

The deployment will provide Turkey with required logistic support to launch military operation inside Iraq.

The sources added that the Turkish army has not only increased its military presence in the region but also deployed heavy military equipment there.

The army has also created some military bases in Hisham heights in Sidakan region.

“It is now just 7 kilometres away from the Sidakan centre,” the sources noted.

The Turkish government has deployed its military 40 km deep into Iraq’s soil under the pretext of fighting the PKK militants, which it recognizes as a terrorist group.

Kurdistan Regional Government and the Central government in Bagdad have not yet commented on the new Turkish incursion.

Probiotic Foods: A Must in Daily Diets of All

Probiotic Foods

Probiotics are live bacteria which are good for health and the digestive system. They can also help boost the immune system while improving the health of the digestive system. We humans used to receive many probiotics in our daily diets with the consumption of natural foods in the past. But unfortunately, this is not true in today’s world.

In the early 20th century, they believed probiotics would be beneficial to the host’s body by improving the microbial balance of the intestines and countering pathogenic and poison-inducing bacteria. Today, elaborate studies have been conducted and registered on the special effects of probiotics, namely fighting chronic diseases which cause inflammation in the intestines, as well as preventing and curing diseases causing diarrhea, infections of the urinary and reproductive systems, some allergies and syndromes of the intestines and chronic intestinal inflammation.

meticore reviews

The main function of probiotics is to ease the movement of food in your intestines. A regular and proper movement in the intestines is more important than what you think. If you do not have enough probiotics, you may suffer certain conditions such as digestive problems, candida infection, influenza, skin problems and self-immune diseases.

Probiotic is also used as an adjective referring to the kinds of food containing such bacteria. Probiotics are not only included in human food, but used profusely in industrial poultry feed.

As probiotic products contain bacteria which have positive effects on the health of users, probiotic bacteria used in goods should preserve their functional and beneficial properties to contribute to people’s health. These properties include the growth and survival of organisms during the production and preservation of products as well as after the consumption while moving from the stomach to the intestines. The doze of the probiotics used plays a key role in the existing density in different parts of the digestive system. Still, not everyone knows how to utilize the advantages of probiotics. We have introduced a list of foods containing probiotics for those who would like to use probiotics naturally and who prefer natural foods to probiotics pills and capsules.

Yoghurt: When buying probiotic yoghurt, go for traditional yoghurt, special probiotic yoghurt, and yoghurt made with goat milk.

Milk: Go for the types of milk enriched with probiotics. You can find different kinds of probiotic milk from among the dairy products of different brands.

Cheese: Probiotic cheese is also available on the market. Gouda, cheddar, mozzarella and some types of pasteurized cheese such as lactic cheese are among the dairy products containing probiotics.

Probiotic Foods: A Must in Daily Diets of AllDark chocolate: Chocolate alone does not contain probiotics, but researchers have found that chocolate helps carry and absorb probiotics in the body. But how? Dark chocolate helps these living bacteria to survive when facing the strong PH of the digestive system and to make it all the way to the intestines. Due to the protective property of chocolate, probiotics can be added to high-quality chocolate or chocolate milk.

In order for the digestive system to have the best performance, enrich your diet by adding probiotic foods. You may also use a good probiotics capsule as a complement.

IRGC Chief Calls for More Facilities for Pakistani Arba’een Pilgrims

Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari called on the IRGC commander of Iran’s southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan province to give services to the Pakistanis who are travelling to Iraq for the world’s largest religious gathering, which marks the anniversary of the fortieth day after the martyrdom of the third Shiite Imam, Hussein ibn Ali (AS).

“As many Pakistani pilgrims enter Iran to go to Iraq to participate in the massive Arba’een march, it is necessary to mobilise facilities and ask the governmental and popular institutions of the province to cooperate more,” added General Jafari.

Every year, Iran grants thousands of visas for Pakistani pilgrims who observe the Arba’een processions. Pakistani pilgrims use the Iranian land to reach Iraq for participating in the ritual.

This year, the day of Arba’een will be marked on October 30.

Probiotic Products Key to Preventing Digestive Disorders

Probiotic Products Key to Preventing Digestive Disorders

Using probiotics increases the health of society. By producing probiotics, Iranian knowledge-based companies have taken a step toward the prevention of many common diseases.

Based on the definition given by the World Food Program and World Health Organization, probiotics contain living organisms which, if taken in adequate amounts, can improve the host’s health.

Probiotic Products Key to Preventing Digestive DisordersThe human body contains a huge amount of bacterial flora. There are almost 300 to 1,000 types of bacteria in our body’s digestive system. When a human being is born, and from the first time the baby eats, the bacterial flora evolves in our body’s digestive system. Therefore, the breast milk is the first probiotic food humans eat. Therefore, one can conclude there is no age limit in consuming probiotic products.

Today, domestic knowledge-based companies are conducting wide-ranging and useful activities by offering technical knowhow and providing raw materials in order to produce different types of probiotic products.

For a more detailed review of Iran’s achievments in various fields of science and technology, check the book “Science and Technology in Iran: A Brief Review”, released by the Science and Technology Department of the Iranian President’s Office.

These technologies are used to improve feedstock for poultry, cattle and marine creatures in order to make them healthier and obviate the need for them to use drugs (especially antibiotics), hence making families’ diets healthier as well.

Probiotic bacteria have numerous benefits, namely they improve the immune system, prevent diseases of the digestive system, abdominal distension and colic in children, reduce the risk of contracting cancer, cut the odds of contracting cardio-vascular diseases and prevent tooth decay. For example, the production of probiotic-based dietary supplements for infants has contributed heavily to improving the health of their digestive system.

An Iranian knowledge-based company has achieved considerable progress in this field. The Tak Gene Company has registered more than ten national inventions in different foodstuff areas. The production of a variety of delicious and useful foodstuffs such as different types of snacks, candy floss, nuts, jelly, chewing gum and chocolate is among the services offered by the company. It works closely with top foodstuff producers.

Modern Methods Make It Easier to Treat Infertility in Men

Many couples around the world suffer from infertility problems. One of the reasons for this condition is infertility in men. Family background or the lifestyle may contribute to men’s infertility. Generally speaking, it is easier to treat infertility in men than in women once the cause of infertility is diagnosed.

If a couple have not used contraceptives and have had regular intercourse for one year since their marriage, and still cannot have children, they need to be examined with regards to infertility. Not to mention the problems that cause infertility in women such as ovulation and womb problems, hormone disorders and diseases, infertility in men can have numerous reasons. Among the reasons of infertility in men are childhood diseases such as surgeries on areas around testicles, testicles being positioned upper than the normal position, hormone disorders such as problems with the hypophysis or sex hormones, inadequate growth of testicles, genetic disorders such the small size of testicles, some chronic infections which affect the performance of testicles, taking certain drugs, certain infections with the reproductive system, long-running diseases marked by fever which affect spermatogenesis, obesity and tobacco use. People’s jobs can also contribute to their infertility. For example, men involved in fumigation jobs and constantly exposed to agents which are harmful to testicles such as pesticides, and bakers, who are always standing by hot ovens, may become infertile.

Common Treatments for Infertility in Men

– In vitro fertilization (IVF)

– Medicines (drugs are effective when men have slight to medium-severity problems)

– Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) (in cases when the wife is less than 37 years old, the odds of becoming pregnant is 60% after four times of intracytoplasmic sperm injection, but the chances will drop to 20% if she is over 37 years of age)

For a more detailed review of Iran’s achievments in various fields of science and technology, check the book “Science and Technology in Iran: A Brief Review”, released by the Science and Technology Department of the Iranian President’s Office.

The ICSI method is very costly. This is while doctors should treat patients using methods that are simple, have the least number of side effects and are inexpensive. Among other measures to cure infertility are cutting down on smoking, refraining from drinking alcohol, reducing stress, reducing weight in obese men, reducing the heat around testicles and treating infections and testicular problems.

Foods Useful in Treating Infertility in Men

Brazilian nuts, meat and grains are good sources of selenium, which is necessary for the development of the reproductive system in men. Red meat, seafood, and brown rice contain zinc, which also contributes to fertility in men. Berries, avocado, peach and vegetables contain vitamins C and E, which help increase the number and activity of sperms.

Carrots, potatoes, mangoes, apricots and vegetables are rich in beta-Carotene, which is needed for full development of sperms.

At the moment, extremely modern methods are used to diagnose, prevent and treat infertility in men. These methods will hopefully be available to the general public in the near future.

Akhal-Teke; Most Expensive Horse in World

Akhal-Teke breed is among the most ancient and scarce breeds of graceful horses which are mainly brought up in Turkmenistan. Today, there are only 8,000 Akhal-Teke horses in the world, out of which about 1,000 are held in a training centre in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat.

Each year, Turkmens mark the festival of Turkmen Horse on the last Sunday of April. The celebration was initiated by Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.

During the festival, the Turkmens cherish Akhal-Teke, a breed of horse with a long neck, small head and delicate mane and tail which can travel over 1,000 kilometres in less than a week. The horses are 147 to 163 cm in height with a distinctive metallic colour, which shines particularly during the daylight.

Akhal-Teke; Most Expensive Horse in World

In addition to their homeland Turkmenistan, Akhal-Teke horses are also brought up in Russia, Germany and many other European states. The horses are usually used for intermingling. They can also serve as sport horses for speed and endurance riding.

For a more detailed review of Iran’s achievments in various fields of science and technology, check the book “Science and Technology in Iran: A Brief Review”, released by the Science and Technology Department of the Iranian President’s Office.

Akhal-Teke horses are too expensive. Those dealing with the horses say the horses are highly resilient against harsh weather. Originally from Karakum Desert in central Asia, they are accustomed to highly dried weather. That’s why they are highly appropriate for endurance riding. But the horses are not good-tempered at all.

For years, humans have made efforts to selectively breed horses and other animals. Animal parentage is an important indicator for trades, sports, breeding, among others. The classical method was based on physical observation of specific traits in animals. Recently, breeders have turned to molecular biology techniques and use of DNA extraction for rapid and accurate parentage verification.

Iranian, Pakistani Top Generals Discuss Release of Abducted Border Guards

In a telephone conversation with Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday, Major General Baqeri reminded Islamabad of its duty to secure the release of the Iranian border guards who were abducted by the so-called Jaish-ul-Adl terrorist group at a border post southeast of Iran on Monday.

“Considering the bilateral agreements between the two countries’ Armed Forces on ensuing the security of common borders, we expect the Pakistani armed forces to take the necessary measures and push for the immediate release of the abducted (Iranian) soldiers and border guards,” the top Iranian commander said.

General Baqeri also urged Pakistan to increase the presence of security forces along the joint border with Iran to promote and stabilize security in those areas and prevent acts of terrorism.

For his part, the Pakistani general expressed regret over the abduction of Iranian forces, and pointing to the Pakistani army’s measures to chase and capture the hostage takers, expressed hope that the security forces would soon arrest the kidnappers and free the Iranian abductees.

Pakistani-based terrorists kidnapped 14 Iranian forces at a border post in Mirjaveh region in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan on October 15.

The Iranian military forces along the southeastern border areas are frequently attacked by terrorist groups coming from Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Tehran has frequently asked the two neighbors to step up security at the common border to prevent terrorist attacks on Iranian forces.
