Iran Signs Deal to Establish Nanotechnology Lab in Bolivia

The document was signed by visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Bolivian counterpart Diego Pary.

The MoU is aimed at launching courses in the field of modern technologies, including nanotechnology, in Bolivia’s EMI university.

Under the agreement, Iran undertook to sign a deal on establishing Master’s degree and PhD degree programs as well as a specialized nanotechnology laboratory at EMI within the framework of the South-South Cooperation initiative.

In the ceremony where the MoU was signed, Zarif said Iran stands ready to share its experience with other countries.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready, with honour, to share its achievements with nations which have not associated their progress with countries supporting unilateralism and which do not contribute to the reinforcement of the hegemonic system,” said Iran’s foreign minister.

“The secret to development and progress for countries which are determined to preserve their independence in a world where colonial countries seek to increase the dependence of other countries is to turn a blind eye to the conditional support offered by these countries and to share their potential with countries that have aligned themselves with them,” he said.

“This is a policy pursued by the Islamic Republic of Iran over the past four decades since the [victory of the] Islamic Revolution, and fortunately, using this very approach, Iran has managed to secure marvelous accomplishments in different defense, nuclear, scientific and technological domains, so much so that the country keeps conquering the peaks of progress and development despite different heavy pressures exerted by hegemonic countries,” he said.

The collaboration plan will be implemented in a bid to train Bolivian elite in the field of nanotechnology and jointly producing knowledge-based products as well as commercializing them in the Latin America region.

You can repay the loan amount in EMIs (equated monthly installments) with the utmost ease.

  1. To Improve Your Credit Score

You can get into debt in order to improve your credit utilization by using a personal loan instead of a credit card. Lenders determine your credit utilization or the relationship between your credit limit & spending in a given month. If you spend too much in a month, banks may consider you higher risk.

So, try to make a habit of taking out a personal loan for making large purchases rather than utilizing a credit card for that. If you will replace credit card debt with a personal loan then you may improve your credit score. You know, why? Opting for a personal loan & paying it off on time will definitely boost your credit score. 1. To Cover Medical Expenses

Even after having health insurance, sometimes the expensive costs of healthcare treatments deter people from availing the best care. Because many medical expenses go beyond what your health insurance covers.  So if you have got an unexpected medical emergency and you’re unable to bear the cost of expensive medical bills, a ‘personal loan’ can be your great companion than a credit card.

Often, you can qualify for a personal loan with a higher loan amount at a low interest rate than a credit card through which you can easily bear your expensive medical expenses. Later, you can repay the loan amount through fixed monthly installments.

  1. To Start Your Own Business/Startup

Without any doubt, staring your own business can be very expensive with the essential need for office space, permit, a website, inventory, equipment, and much more things. With the help of a personal loan, there will be no need to put your home as collateral since the personal loan is an unsecured loan that does not require any guarantor or collateral. Another great thing about taking a personal loan is that the tenor for making a repayment of a loan amount will be less. Therefore, you don’t have to take the stress of loan for a very long period of time.

5 Reasons Why You Should Consider Buying A Used Car

But firstly, here are the 5 top reasons why you should consider buying a used car:

  1. Better Models and Better Prices: The conventional notion of limited choices when you are buying a used car is long gone. With authorized dealerships like CarSwitch, who buy and sell cars, offering you a plethora of choices and deals which give you the full value for your money-this is the way to go. Depending on your requirement, you can choose the model which is the most suitable for you; you can also avail the opportunity to trade up by selling your old car there itself; and all of this can easily be done within a day! All you need to do is drive in to your nearest dealership, with your old car and you can drive back home with your new car the same day itself.
  2. Quality Guaranteed: When you purchase a pre-owned car through an authorised dealer, you can be assured of the quality guaranteed. One of the major doubts many customers have, when opting for buying a used car, is the overall quality of the car- whether its performance is economical, if there are any issues in the vehicle’s running history, or if there are any other issues with the car. At CarSwitch, every car is hand checked and inspected by experts, so you can be sure of the quality of the car you buy. Even in the rarest cases of any issues post the purchase of the car, they provide support and quick resolution, so you do not have to run from pillar to post, trying to figure out what to do next.
  3. Affordable: These days, the number of used cars in UAE is reaching new heights, as many consumers are now realising how many affordable options are available. When you purchase a brand new car, within the first year of use, it devalues 30% of the original price. So when you can get the latest model of the car which you’ve got your eye on, at a much more affordable price; and is running smoothly, why not get a used car?
  4. Lower Insurance Costs: Since used cars are lighter on your wallet than new cars, with the same principle, the cost of insuring a used car is lower than that of a new car. In fact, you can also end up saving more by dropping some elements of the car insurance; such as collision and theft. Many car experts say that such elements can be eliminated easily when the car is old enough. So choosing to buy a used car can prove to be a super saver deal for you!
  5. Minimised Depreciation: Some fancy words for saving your precious bucks, when you buy the “right” used car, you can possibly buy it, drive it and resell it with little loss in equity. In simpler terms, if you choose resell your used car after a while, you would not be losing out a lot on the price as compared to a new car, because a used car depreciates slower than a new car; hence the resale value of it would not be a drastic drop from the price that you bought it at.

Purchasing a pre-owned car can be a very smart investment, both economically and practically. Not only do you save on costs, and get the best deal for your buck, but you also get the guarantee of quality and an efficient car for your use. So why not make the wiser choice and consider buying a used car?

Three Questions PM Johnson Should Answer on Iran

In a message on his Twitter account, Reza Nasri posed a couple of questions for new British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

“UK has seized an Iranian tanker invoking an EU law. This means UK apparently believes that EU laws -or EU “domestic” legislation- supplant international law, namely on the Freedom of navigation. What does Boris Johnson -a fervent Brexit campaigner- think of this argument?” he asked.

“In line with the argument invoked to seize Grace I, would UK government recognize Iran’s right to adopt a similar “domestic” legislation allowing its armed forces to regulate and physically impede the entry of certain goods to Saudi Arabia for the latter’s war crimes in Yemen?” the expert added.

“If not, on what ground would the UK Prime Minister NOT recognize such right for Iran?” concluded Nasri, who writes opinion pieces about international law, foreign policy, security, and the Iran nuclear deal.

The Geneva-based expert has posed the questions hours after Johnson was elected leader of the Conservative party to succeed Theresa May as the UK premier.

In a tweet on Tuesday, Foreign Minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif congratulated his former counterpart on winning the race to become the next UK prime minster, and denounced the outgoing British premier’s government for seizing Iran’s supertanker Grace 1 in the international waters off the coasts of Gibraltar.

“The May govt’s seizure of Iranian oil at behest of US is piracy, pure & simple,” Zarif said.

On July 4, the British Royal Marines seized Iran’s oil tanker Grace 1 in Gibraltar on charge of trying to take oil to Syria allegedly in violation of the EU sanctions.

Tehran has made it clear that the supertanker was not bound for Syria and its seizure has taken place at the behest of the US.

Two weeks later, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy captured British oil tanker “Stena Impero” for violating international maritime laws when crossing the high-traffic Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf on July 19.

The UK vessel had switched off its GPS locator, in contravention of international regulations, and was sailing into the Strait of Hormuz in a wrong traffic pattern.

The British tanker was entering the strait from the southern route which is an exit path, increasing the risk of an accident.

Analysts believe that Iran has exercised its legitimate right to act in retaliation for the UK act of piracy.

Crocodile Bites Off Kid’s Arm in Iran

Havva Raeisi is expected to make a recovery after being bitten by the big mugger crocodile and having to keep her neck away from the reptile’s jaws.

The 10-year-old girl was standing on the bank of ‘Bahoo-Kalat’ river with her sisters on July 19 when she was attacked by the crocodile, which her cousin claims was approximately six meters long.

Having lost her right arm from the scapula in the attack, Havva is receiving treatment at the hospital and remembers enough to speak about the trauma.

Crocodile Bites Off Kid’s Arm in Iran“I was washing clothes beside the river. Suddenly I realized that a number of people were holding and dragging my legs. I thought they were kidding. I asked them why they were pulling my legs and asked them to let me do my job. Then I took a look at the water surface in the middle of my words and suddenly saw the crocodile that had opened up its big mouth and was attacking me. It was trying to bite my neck and drag me into the river. If it had caught (my neck), I would have been dead for sure,” the little girl says with a hoarse voice on the hospital bed.

Havva recounts how she threw herself down and jerked her neck toward the ground to avoid the animal’s jaws, saying the crocodile bit her arm instead.

When the little girl screamed for help, her sisters and Ali, her cousin, rushed to squeeze her body and threw stones at the crocodile. They freed Havva from the hungry reptile’s jaws, but she suffered such deep lacerations and puncture wounds that lost her right arm.

Ali, 14, says the lack of fresh water has forced villagers in the area to go to nearby rivers for collecting water or washing their dishes and clothes.

“The mugger crocodile was pretty powerful, but I don’t know what happened that the animal suddenly let Havva’s arm go and left. Her arm was seriously wounded and was bleeding. I informed her family and we took her immediately to the hospital,” said Ali, who says the reptile was six meters long.

Crocodile encounters are not out of the ordinary in the rivers of Sistan and Baluchestan.

The mugger crocodile, also called broad-snouted crocodile, is native to freshwater habitats in southeast Iran. The prehistoric reptile is called ‘Gando’ in Persian.

Evidence Gives Rise to Suspicion of Israel’s Role in Amano Death: Report

The International Atomic Energy Agency’s Chief Yukio Amano

The report quoted informed sources as saying that based on solid evidence, the IAEA chief has been slain by Tel Aviv.

“Amano had died several days ago but the US and Israel sought to keep the news of his death,” Tasnim quoted the informed sources.

The sources went on to say that the US administration and Israeli regime had begun exerting pressure on Amano for a while to level unfounded accusations against Iran’s nuclear program.

“The US and Israel insistently urged Amano to violate the repeated reports by the IAEA confirming Iran’s full commitment to its pledges under the JCPOA and falsely claim that Iran has violated the nuclear deal,” the sources added.

According to the report, the pressures were part of a larger plan to force Iran to sit for talks with the US administration over its nuclear talks.

The Japanese diplomat, Yukiya Amano played a central role in verifying Iran’s compliance with the Iran nuclear deal as the IAEA head. According to the Vienna-based organization, Amano died on Monday at 72.

Exclusive: In Leaked Audio, Unfaithful MKO Leader Calls US Presidents ‘Criminal’

Mehdi Abrishamchi, a founding member of the anti-Iran terror group, made the remarks in a secret intra-organizational meeting, whose contents have been leaked by an MKO member.

After carrying out a chain of terrorist attacks in Iran, Abrishamchi fled the country along with a number of his comrades, including his wife Maryam Qajar-Azodanlu. However, he was later forced to divorce his wife at the request of then MKO leader Masoud Rajavi, who later married Maryam. Abrishamchi even surprised observers by attending their wedding ceremony.

The leaked audio of Abrishamchi’s speech at a gathering of the most trusted members of the Rajavi cult indicates his deep dissatisfaction with the regional approach adopted by many of US presidents, from Bill Clinton to George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

One of the reasons for his dissatisfaction is the US’ invasion of Iraq, which resulted in the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, and according to Abrishamchi, the growth of Iran’s influence in the Arab country.

He also blasts Bill Clinton for designating the MKO as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, arguing that committing acts of terrorism inside Iran is their “right”.

Without referring to the US support for the terrorist cult, the senior MKO member lashes out at the US presidents with a humiliating tone, and does not even exclude Donald Trump, whose administration has become known as a staunch supporter of the MKO.

In his remarks, he does not point to his organization’s friendly relations with Trump’s national security advisor John Bolton, his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and a number of other notorious US hawks who earlier delivered speeches at the MKO gatherings.

Even in one of his MKO speeches, Bolton promised they would celebrate their victory in Tehran in 2019.

Despite the explicit support of senior Trump administration officials for the MKO at their gatherings, Abrishamchi says he does not pin any hope on Trump, and just wishes the US president would not harm them.

The MKO group, known in Iran as the Monafiqeen (‘the hypocrites’), are known to be divided in their political, social, and organizational behaviours.

Iran Bans Bitcoin Miners from Using Power during Peak Hours

That was announced by the Iranian minister of economy and a senior lawmaker while commenting on the mechanism of producing digital currency in Iran.

“Following requests by people, economic players and members of parliament for transparency on the production of digital currency and Bitcoins, … the Parliament’s Economic Commission decided to hold a meeting to made the necessary decisions on the issue,” said Elias Hazrati, the chairman of the commission.

He said there is no law on digital currency in the country.

“The [Parliament’s] Economic Commission felt that adopting the necessary decisions on digital currency might be delayed; so, today it invited the minister of finance and economic affairs, minister of industry, mines and trade, and minister of energy, as well as officials of the Central Bank, Passive Defense Organization, and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to attend a meeting to elaborate on the advantages and drawbacks of using digital currency and its legal processes,” the MP said.

He underlined the government has recognized digital currency as an industry.

“The government has devised a plan which would decrease the disadvantages of digital currency and increase its benefits. It also gives the guarantee that people will easily be able to receive the necessary permits in this domain from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade,” the parliamentarian noted.

He said decisions have been made to offer electricity for the production of digital currency at a reasonable price.

“It has also been decided that the government work out a mechanism for peak hours of electricity consumption, so that people will not face problems. So, relevant institutions will provide producers of digital currency with three-phased timers which switch off during peak hours of power consumption,” he said.

Meanwhile, Iranian Minister of Economy and Financial Affairs Farhad Dejpasand said the government recognizes digital currency. However, he said it is forbidden to use electricity to produce digital currency during peak hours.

He added the price of electricity used to produce digital currency will be determined based on the average price of electricity which is exported.

Iran Congratulates Johnson as New UK PM, Says Not after Confrontation

“I congratulate my former counterpart, Boris Johnson on becoming UK PM,” Zarif tweeted on Tuesday, shortly after the UK’s Conservative Party elected Johnson as its new leader and the future premier of the UK.

Zarif pointed to the seizure of an Iranian oil tanker during the tenure of former UK Prime Minister Theresa May, and described it as “piracy, pure and simple”.

“Iran does not seek confrontation. But we have 1500 miles of Persian Gulf coastline. These are our waters & we will protect them,” he added.

Earlier on Monday, Zarif issued a stern caution against any attempts at starting a conflict with the country, which is not seeking one, stressing that the Islamic Republic’s recent seizure of a British-flagged tanker did not come as an act of “retaliation.”

“It’s important for everybody to realize, it’s important for Boris Johnson to understand, that Iran does not seek confrontation,” he said during a visit to Nicaragua.

“Iran wants to have normal relations based on mutual respect,” he added.\

The top diplomat made the remarks after Britain issued Iran a volley of threatening messages in response to its Friday seizure of the UK-flagged. Stena Impero was captured and an investigation initiated after the tanker collided with an Iranian fishing boat in the Persian Gulf and refused to respond to its distress call.

British officials have minced no words in accusing Tehran of taking the measure in retaliation to British marines’ capture of an Iranian-operated supertanker in the Strait of Gibraltar on July 4. Iran says it only acted against Stena Impero after it flouted maritime regulations.

Zarif also described the UK’s seizure of the supertanker carrying Iran’s oil as “piracy” and “violation of international law” by British and Gibraltar authorities.

The British naval forces captured the vessel Grace 1 on the accusation that it was carrying Iranian oil to Syria in violation of the EU’s unilateral sanctions on the Arab country. Tehran has denied that the supertanker was bound for Syria.
