The Bakhtiaris are a southwestern Iranian tribe. They speak the Bakhtiari dialect, a southwestern Iranian dialect, belonging to the Lurish language.

Bakhtiaris primarily inhabit Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and eastern Khuzestan, Lorestan, Bushehr, and Isfahan provinces. In Khuzestan, Bakhtiari tribes are concentrated primarily in the eastern part of the province in the cities of Masjed Soleyman and Andika.

A small percentage of Bakhtiari are still nomadic pastoralists, migrating between summer quarters and winter quarters. Numerical estimates of their total population vary widely.

The Bakhtiari tribesmen have lived in the rugged mountains and crossed the burning deserts of Khuzestan at a time when there was no modern-day means of communication and no one could answer questions about unfamiliar events. Therefore, they have overcome the environment and unanswered questions through myths and motifs.

The following photo collection, created by Maryam Al-e Momen and published on IRNA, is aimed at portraying some of these folk legends.

Al (demon of childbirth) is a wrinkled old woman carrying a basket containing a pregnant woman’s liver. In the past, due to insufficient health and medical care, when a pregnant woman died of an infection or bleeding, people would blame it on a creature dubbed Al and do things to get rid of her.

Merdozma is an evil and cunning creature that appears in the form of humans and domestic animals (sheep, cows, dogs, horses, etc.) and tries to drag them into a valley at the ripe time. It seizes the opportunity to surprise them and push them into the valley or kill them in a battle. It is believed that few people have survived in the fight. They believe that Merdozma is behind the deaths of people who died in the hot and burning mountains and valleys of Khuzestan.

Tips to Capture the Photos of Moving Objects

As long as the title “Capturing the Photos of Moving Objects” is concerned, I will tell you some very basic tips. However, being basic doesn’t mean these are not effective. Here I will tell you tools and techniques of capturing moving objects in slow or fast speed. By following these points and practicing every day, you will surely be able to capture the Photos of Moving Objects with perfection:

Taking Photos of Fast-Moving Objects:

If objects are moving fast such as Kangaroo jumping, lion running, a bird flapping, or a fish diving, you need to use following four tips to get a perfect photo. These tips are extremely beneficial when it comes to doing natural photography.

1. Take Care of the Shutter Speed:

Shutter speed is the thing that allows fastest focus to capture objects. Some of the mobile phone cameras have extremely low shutter speed hence the pictures feel blue or ghostlike when captured with such device. For fast moving subjects, the shutter speed needs to be 1/500 on per second basis. Later, when the capturing thing is done, you will have to edit photos by using retouchme photo app to enhance the brightness of your objects. This is because high shutter speed often results limiting the amount of light and unexposed photographs if you will not edit photos.

2. Enhancing the Aperture:

Aperture is the image sensor; it is a hole from where light enters the camera for moving fast. The enhanced aperture allows you tackle the low brightness of objects that has appeared due to fast shutter speed. The problem here will be with the depth of your photos. Again, you will have to choose the option to edit photos in order to maintain its depth and your creative level. Retouchme photo app is one of the best apps in the world that allows you to edit images for depth and color quality.

3. Don’t Forget About Flash:

If you are doing indoor or night shoots, you will have to provide artificial lighting to your photo. You will have to use a separate flash light for moving objects in order to maintain its resolution, depth, and to expose the objects in photographs. In this way, you can focus less to edit photos because everything will be maintained.

4. Camera with High ISO:

This is an expensive thing but it can give you extremely professional shots ant that also without using a photo app to edit photos. High ISO doesn’t let the shutter speed lessen the brightness neither it allows aperture to finish the depth of images. However, editing is still required because no professional images can be taken unless you edit photos to remove its problems.

Taking Photos of Slow-Moving Objects by Panning:

For slow moving objects, please follow the follow the following points:

1. Slow Shutter Speed:

As the object is moving slowly and you need to capture it, the shutter speed needs to be slow or else you will get only the shadow of moving object or captured in a way that it won’t look moving at all. Therefore, you will have to use slow shutter speed.

2. Choosing the Best Backgrounds:

In fast moving objects the background is often blue or totally washed out. However, when object to focus is moving slowly, the rest of the objects in the background will also be moving but at a fast speed according to laws of motion of physics. Therefore, the background is focused even in a blur way. Therefore, you will have to choose a good background for your images. If you don’t have it, don’t worry, you can add multiple backgrounds in your photos while editing them with retouchme photo app.

3. Set the Focus in Advance:

As everything in the background and foreground is moving, hence you will have to focus the object you intend to focus in advance. Without focus picture will lose its depth and the fee. You will have to convey to the viewers the actual idea of your photo. You can edit photos with retouchme to enhance the focus of the focused object and make background blur.

4. Release Shutter Gently:

All with this the technique is to release the shutter gently. As you require a slow shutter speed so if you will release the shutter quickly, the focus from the focused object can be diverted. Therefore, you will have to release the shutter gently so that the camera gets enough time to capture and focus the slow-moving object.

Hopefully, these tips will come handy when it comes to capturing the Photos of Moving Objects.

Zarif Condoles with India over His Former Counterpart’s Death

In a tweet early Wednesday, Zarif sent his “deepest condolences” to the government and the people of India on the passing of former External Affairs Minister.

“I had many fruitful and useful discussions with her while she held office, and am saddened by her sudden passing,” he said.

“May she forever rest in peace.”

Swaraj, who served as foreign minister for five years, suffered a cardiac arrest on Tuesday, the Press Trust of India said.

She was a popular minister in Narendra Modi’s first term as prime minister, but did not contest parliamentary elections earlier this year.

She became known for helping Indians stuck abroad by responding to them on Twitter.

Swaraj, 67, had been suffering from poor health and had a kidney transplant in 2016.

The news of her death prompted an outpouring of grief and condolences both from fellow politicians and from Indians across the globe.

“A glorious chapter in Indian politics comes to an end,” Prime Minster Narendra Modi said on Twitter.

“India grieves the demise of a remarkable leader who devoted her life to public service and bettering lives of the poor. Sushma Swaraj Ji was one of her kind, who was a source of inspiration,” he said.

Zarif: US Targeting Civilians Decades after Hiroshima Bombing

“74 years after US became first & ONLY regime to deploy a nuclear weapon -on a city, designed to maximize casualties- it is STILL targeting civilians,” Zarif said in a post on his Twitter account on Tuesday, the anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima by the US in 1945.

The Iranian foreign minister said the US government is still targeting civilians “with Economic Terrorism, violating a historic nuclear deal, and punishing those who seek to adhere to it.”

In May 2018, the US administration withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which had been achieved in July 2015 after lengthy talks between Iran and the P5+1 group of states comprising the US, the UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany.

The US president has also re-imposed the unilateral sanctions against Iran in a move described by Zarif as economic terrorism.

Iran, France Urge Maritime Security in Region

In a telephone conversation on Tuesday evening, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron discussed a range of issues, from the 2015 nuclear deal to the collective efforts for de-escalation of regional tensions.

“Sadly, while Iran and France are trying to reduce the tensions and pave the way for sustainable coexistence in the region, we are witnessing provocative measures by the Americans,” President Rouhani said in the telephone conversation.

Iran emphasizes the need for the security and freedom of shipping in the region and the Strait of Hormuz, the president underlined, noting, “Everyday, tens of vessels travel (through the Hormuz Strait) freely, and Iran’s forces do their monitoring job according to the regulations.”

President Rouhani also described as “positive and a step forward” the negotiations that have been held in recent months to salvage the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, reiterating that Iran has reduced certain commitments to the JCPOA in order to secure its interests under the nuclear deal and force the other parties to honor their commitments and solidify the agreement.

The Iranian president then stressed the need for the efforts to expedite the process of Iran’s oil and banking trade with the other nations, describing it as Tehran’s overriding economic right under the JCPOA.

He also called for continued efforts to weight up plans for achieving expert and fair solutions for the fulfillment of Iran’s economic interests.

“The promotion of interaction and cooperation between Iran and Europe could create a calm and assuring atmosphere for the region and the world, and France, as an old partner of Iran in the European Union, can play a constructive role in this regard,” President Rouhani added.

Macron, for his part, reaffirmed France’s commitment to the JCPOA, saying Paris believes it is important to achieve a result that would be agreed on by all parties and would fulfill Iran’s interests under the JCPOA.

The French leader also welcomed the Iranian president’s proposal for consultations between the Iranian and French experts and officials to reach suitable solutions to various regional and international problems, and called for the expansion of cooperation between Tehran and Paris.

The two presidents have held at least four telephone conversations in the past few weeks.

France was the first country to contact the Islamic Republic following Tehran’s May 8 decision to reduce some of its JCPOA commitments in reaction to the US withdrawal from the deal and Europe’s failure to live up to its commitments under the deal.

There were talks of a plan shared with Iran by President Macron, known as “freeze for freeze”, based on which Iran would stop its nuclear decision and the US would lift its nuclear-related sanctions against Iran. However, Iranian officials did not explicitly confirm receiving such an offer.

Iran’s Foreign Minister to Visit Azerbaijan Republic

“Based on his schedule to visit northern neighbours of Iran, the Foreign Minister is expected to visit Azerbaijan,” he told Trend news agency.

“The two countries are expected to discuss economic and bilateral issues during the visit,” Mousavi added.

“The date of the visit has not been specified yet, but it would be part of a tour to several northern neighbours including Azerbaijan,” he added.

Mousavi emphasized that the schedule of the visit will be announced shortly.

He also indicated that high-ranking Iranian officials would attend the Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Baku.

“The level of visiting officials will be similar to other ministerial conferences of the Non-Aligned Movement but the schedule for the visit is not set yet,” he added.

The Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) is an international organization uniting 120 member countries, and 17 observer countries and 10 international organizations.

Azerbaijan, a full member of the organization since 2011, is to take the chairmanship until 2022, which will take place on October 25th to 26th 2019 in Baku.

US Mass Shootings Result of Sanctifying Violence: Zarif

Zarif made the remarks in reaction to two mass shootings in the US states of Texas and Ohio, where 29 people were killed and at least 52 others sustained injuries within less than 24 hours.

“We were very saddened yesterday. It was a source of great regret for us that American people, innocent citizens, fell victim to the shooting culture, the culture of bullying, the culture of coercion, the culture of sanctifying violence, a culture that sanctifies violence and the killing of innocent people, the culture that talks of war as an option on the table,” he said.

“This culture is not a successful one. In today’s world, this discourse cannot last long,” he added in a press conference on Monday held on the occasion of National Journalists’ Day.

He strongly criticized the US’ warmongering policies, including its repeated threats to use the military options against the Islamic Republic amid heightened tensions in the region.

“Has the United States, which boasts of its warmongering so much, won a single war since the Vietnam War? Except for Grenada. Is it an honour for a world superpower to have won only one war over 70 years, and that war being against a tiny state like Grenada?” Zarif said.

He made the comments in reference to a tweet by US President Donald Trump, in which he claimed the Iranians have never won a war.

“The US has not won any other war; it has lost the Vietnam war, the regional wars have resulted in nothing but destruction and damage,” Zarif noted.

“Wherever they set their foot, they achieve nothing but humiliation – from Afghanistan, where after 18 years they are holding talks with the Taliban before leaving the country with humiliation, to Iraq where their presence resulted in the creation of ISIS, to Syria where they left nothing but misery for themselves and the region, to the Persian Gulf where they have just committed crimes whenever they were present, the worst case of which was the killing of 290 innocent people in their attack on Iran Air’s Airbus.”

He said “this discourse is doomed to failure. We should admit the time of hegemony discourse is long over, so is the case for the discourses of superpowers and bullying.”

Rouhani Says War with Iran ‘Mother of All Wars’

“I emphasise again, peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and war with Iran is the mother of all wars,” Rouhani told a press conference at the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

“Security against security, strait against strait, peace against peace, and oil against oil; this is what we say,” he added.

“It can’t be that the Strait of Hormuz is free for you and the Strait of Gibraltar is not free for us,” Rouhani said.

The Iranian president also announced that Washington needs to lift all its sanctions against Iran if it really seeks negotiations with Tehran.

“If the United States wants to negotiate, it must lift the sanctions in their entirety before anything” so that it will not be accounted as a violator of human rights, said Rouhani. “We can’t talk to a criminal.”

The president further questioned the US government’s sincerity in its repeated offers of talks to Tehran, which have come in parallel with the “maximum pressure” campaign underway against the Iranian nation.

Rouhani further blasted the US for waging “economic terrorism” against the Iranian people, calling on Americans to reconsider their behaviour and “pave the ground for negotiations.”

The remarks were made during a speech which also praised Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif after the United States recently imposed sanctions on him.

The president underscored that the Foreign Ministry and its director do not belong to a specific party or faction, but represent the entire Iranian nation and reflect Iran’s foreign policy in the international arena.

Rouhani then made it clear for the US government that it will be impossible to change the regime in Iran through sanctions or pressures, stressing that the Iranian people will never back off from safeguarding their country and the Islamic Republic as long as the Article 6 of the Constitution in in effect.

The Article 6 stipulates that the affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran must be administered on the basis of public opinion expressed by the means of elections.

The president also lauded Zarif as a political elite who has gained the highest degree of specialist expertise in foreign policy with his talent and experience, like a Mujtahid in the religious studies.

On July 31, the US Department of State said Washington has designated Zarif for acting on behalf of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. The US president had issued an executive order on June 24, imposing sanctions on the Leader and his office and authorizing sanctions on others associated with Ayatollah Khamenei.
