President Lauds Iranians’ Cooperation, Says Religious Sites May Reopen

President Lauds Iranians’ Cooperation, Says Religious Sites May Reopen

In an address to a meeting of the chairpersons of specialized committees of the Coronavirus Fight National Headquarters on Saturday, President Rouhani pointed to a report from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education about the achievement of “relatively satisfactory conditions” in the battle with the novel coronavirus, saying the close cooperation from the people and observance of the health protocols is a source of pride in the country.

“If the popular cooperation continues in parallel with the arrangements that have been made, we can be hopeful to some extent about cutting off the chain of outbreak of the disease,” the president noted.

He also emphasized that the Iranian health officials, religious authorities and clerics share a common concern about the health of people and creating an acceptable situation for the resumption of religious rituals, adding, “One can be hopeful that under circumstances that the indices of controlling the disease are improved, the country’s religious centers might reopen by defining conditions and instructions.”

He also noted that a large number of coronavirus cases in Iran have been treated with outpatient treatment services following an increase in the number of laboratories, lab testing with quick results, and the efforts made by the health personnel.

Under a coordinated management system covering all sectors and organizations, the officials have been deployed to the infected provinces and cities in a timely manner, have prevented a peak in the coronavirus outbreak, and have rapidly created stable situation by enforcing precautionary measures and restrictions, the president noted.

President Rouhani also explained that Iran is taking the path to controlling the disease, but cautioned that any reduction in the level of warnings and popular vigilance could result in another peak.

He once again called on people to stay home, not go out for unnecessary activities, and help the officials ensure a stable and reliable situation in containing COVID-19.

President Rouhani finally noted that the committees of the Coronavirus Fight National Headquarters have been assigned to evaluate the process of resumption of activities in every city and define the necessary health protocols by assessing the statistics for the infected cases, deaths and the outbreak indices.

Governments Considering Online Gaming Restrictions Due to Addiction Fears

Governments Considering Online Gaming Restrictions Due to Addiction Fears

Spending a lot of time indoors is problematic for most people, especially when there is no clear deadline inside. Granted most have realized the importance of not leaving the confinement of their home during these trying times, the psychological impact is strong nonetheless. Everyone is trying to find ways to cope with this unexpected and frustrating situation and many have found a refuge in online gambling.

Internet casinos provide an excellent form of entertainment now when it is not possible to leave the house and you can play and visit online casino UK sites legally. Some people bet on sports, others choose to spin the reels of slots, while some have discovered the thrills of online poker. Unfortunately for them, governments of several countries are considering restrictions for online casinos, as they are overly concerned about the dangers of addiction.

What are governments worried about?

Online gambling is legalized in most countries and people can bet on sports and play casino games lawfully at licensed operators. The United Kingdom is a shining example of country where such activities are regulated and people are not exposed to the dangers of playing at shady operators. Things are about to take a turn for the worse, as those who enjoy this type of online entertainment could be subject to a new wave of restrictions and limitations.

Sports betting has virtually stopped or was replaced by videogame tournaments, but online casinos are thriving. That’s because the same account grants players access to all forms of gambling and people can use the same resources to try different genres. Now governments are concerned about the prospect of gambling addiction hurting people both on short term and in the long run. They are particularly worried about regular punters who in the absence of sports might take a leap of faith with other games.

Isolation carries big risks especially to those who have a background of gambling addiction. With a lot of time on their hands and nothing to do, many are tempted to return to online casino games. Reducing the length of gaming sessions is a sound advice, but one that is more difficult to follow during these trying times. The authorities are worried that with nothing else to do, people might bet significantly larger amounts than they can afford to lose. Eventually this can lead to financial rule and despair.

What measures are proposed?

The classic safeguards are in place and people who worry about spending too much time gambling online can contact professional aid groups. Gamstop and other services are available to those who want to block gaming websites, hence protect themselves from the threat of gambling addiction. At the same time, members of the parliament have asked for stricter measures to be enforced during the crisis.

Some propose limitations on the amounts that players can bet on various games genres, while others suggest a carpet ban on all forms of gambling. The chances for such drastic measures to be enforced are low, but nevertheless worrisome for both online casinos and their players.

Iran Will Never Start Conflict, Tension in Region: President

Iran Will Never Start Conflict, Tension with US in Region: President

Rouhani made the remarks in a phone conversation with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Saturday.

His comments came after the escalation of tension between Iran and the US in the Persian Gulf, especially following the IRGC Navy’s warning to US warships and the subsequent anti-Iran threats made by US President Donald Trump.

In the Saturday phone call, President Rouhani further congratulated the Qatari government and nation on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.

He expressed hope this month will bring diving blessings upon the Muslim community.

The Qatari Emir, in turn, expressed congratulations to Iranian people on the holy occasion, and urged all countries to make efforts to stave off tension in the region.

During the phone call, both sides described Tehran-Doha relations as positive and growing. They also emphasized the need to forge closer ties on all fronts.

7 Effects of Coronavirus Pandemic on Online Businesses

7 Effects of Coronavirus Pandemic on Online Businesses

The government forced the cancellation of events and forbade large gatherings. However, the pandemic has had a different online business impact. Internet sales companies have changed the way they deliver services.

Let’s take a look at how the business crisis has affected online businesses.

Business Solutions

Companies had to change the way they deliver their services, mentions our expert Michelle H. Thomas. In Canadian online casino reviews, many casinos have realized a rise in online gaming. Physical esports tournaments have been replaced with gamers participating in online contests from the comfort of their homes.

There has been a definite online business impact for those who provide ‘non-essential services’. Internet sales companies still sell their products, but the delivery will be delayed. This delay has caused a drop in sales all over the world.

Banking and Payments

The World Health Organisation has recommended that consumers avoid cash transactions. This adjustment may not have had a direct online business impact. It’s standard practice for Internet sales companies to use online payment methods.

The business crisis still has an effect on banking methods, though. Not all consumers are well off enough to own a bank account. Some are even more restricted with the payment methods available to them. Internet sales companies have had to find innovative new ways to handle payments.

Advertising

The drop in the economy has had a negative financial impact on online business. With sales dropping, internet sales companies are spending fewer funds on advertising. Online businesses have had to change their financial focus in order to minimize expenditure.

The reduction in marketing has a double effect. It means less online exposure for the internet sales company. Furthermore, it means less income for the marketing agency. Some online businesses make revenue off marketing alone.

Decline in Competition

The business crisis has led to financial ruin for some internet sales companies. Many online businesses have gone bankrupt due to a loss in sales. This financial drop has caused a decline in market competition.

For online businesses that managed to survive, this means an increase in the market share. The internet sale companies have been able to capitalize on the opportunities. This is especially true for companies who have already established themselves, such as online gaming businesses.

Supply Chain Management

Internet sales companies have also suffered a business crisis where there have been issues in their supply chain. Some online businesses rely on manufacturers and distributors of their products. Where these companies have closed down, the online businesses had to stop supplying the products.

Software and Network Capabilities

Some online businesses provide streaming of media. Online gaming companies host servers for gamers to play on. With more people staying at home and using the network, small online businesses have not been able to keep up with server demands.

Small businesses also have software not capable of meeting huge demands. Where they have seen a rise in business due to the business crisis, they have had to upgrade their technology and software.

7 Effects of Coronavirus Pandemic on Online Businesses 2Online Gambling

The Coronavirus pandemic has had a major effect on sportsbooks. With the government prohibiting sports events, most of the sports betting markets have closed. Some online bookies have reported a drop in sales.

Other online sportsbooks are thriving. This survival is noticeable with online casinos that also offer casino and table games. Bookies that offer eSports and Virtual Sports are also reporting a rise in members.

Final Thoughts

It’s no surprise that the Coronavirus pandemic has had such an effect on businesses worldwide. What is terrifying, though, is the large market gap between traditional business and online internet sales companies.

There’s a definite advantage to having an online business today. Yet, that doesn’t mean that there’s no online business impact. Small businesses are suffering the most, while large online businesses have found a way to adapt to the effects of the pandemic.

In a way, while the pandemic is traumatizing, it has taught online business how to adapt and survive.

Iran Says Its COVID-19 Recovery Rate Unmatched in the World

Iran Says Its COVID-19 Recovery Rate Unmatched in the World

As of Friday noon, over 66,500 Iranian patients had recovered from the COVID-19 and been discharged from hospitals across the country, according to Health Ministry figures.
Speaking after a video-conference meeting with his counterparts from other countries of the world, the Iranian health minister described the record as a great honour for the Islamic Republic in the difficult conditions of international sanctions.

He further noted that the number of daily deaths due to the coronavirus in the country has decreased by over 30 percent in the past three weeks, and the new cases of infection confirmed every day have shown a downward trend by 40%.

Namaki added that from every six regions of the World Health Organisation, one country was selected to share its experiences with the world and fortunately among the eastern Mediterranean countries, the Islamic Republic of Iran was chosen.

“I extend congratulations on this great achievement, and I hope that with empathy, consensus, and observance of health principles and protocols, we will continue this trend quickly and set a historical record in the international arena,” stressed Namaki.

At the meeting, Namaki told his counterparts that no COVID-19 case in Iran has been left out of the hospital.

“Fortunately, from the very first days, we carried out coronavirus tests and handled the patients with the right principles. We did not exclude any age group from treatment, and even no emergency non-corona cases.”

Luckily, during this period, we treated all dialysis patients, heart patients and those in the intensive care unit along with patients with COVID-19, underscored Namaki.

“Today, with the development of our healthcare infrastructure, the number of hospital beds for every 1,000 people is 1.6, while in France and other European countries it is five or six times more than ours. Moreover, the number of nurses for every hospital bed in European countries is about two to three times more than that of Iran,” he went on to say.

“In the meeting, we described to the world our great screening experience,” he noted, referring to the national mobilisation plan implemented by his ministry to fight against corona.

He described the plan as a big step that no other country has implemented at such a level. More than 71 million of the country’s 83 million population were screened using the capacity of health and prevention sector.

Namaki continued that in the meeting, the Islamic Republic called on the World Health Organisation to put pressure on the oppressive countries to remove the sanctions and do something to put less pressure on the weak countries.

In this way, he told the meeting, the infrastructure of the health system will be less damaged by discrimination in the world, and these countries will be able to pass the post-Corona period without economic problems.

“At the meeting, we made some points for the countries of the world about the smart distancing project in Iran and said we should be able to help businesses thrive again despite the strict protocols to prevent pressure on families and low-income trades.”

Namaki also highlighted that these goals have been achieved with support, empathy, observance of health protocols and social distancing, as well as uninterrupted efforts of health and medical forces.

Things Everyone Should Know About Bankruptcy

Worrying about the process is the last thing you need to do when you’re trying to balance calls from creditors, getting on with day to day life and working extra hours to try and cover costs. Declaring yourself bankrupt can be a very helpful tool in this situation if you want to restart your life and recover from debt in a responsible manner. Understanding bankruptcy and everything that comes with it is the first step to a new, debt-free life.

It’s Not a Fast Process

Being inexperienced within bankruptcy court is absolutely fine and very common, once someone has been through the process, they often make it their life goal to continue in a debt-free manner so they never have to revisit the process again.

Many people think that bankruptcy will happen in a similar way to small claims court, which in most cases will be over in one day. This is not the case and can differ when filing for different types. Chapter 7 bankruptcy is the most common for individuals and will often last anywhere from four to six months. Chapters 7 and 11 will last longer, often lasting anything up to five years.

You Need to Be Honest

When it comes to filing for bankruptcy, you need to be completely honest with yourself, and your friends and family. Not only does this make the process easier for you and your family to deal with, but it also fairs well in court as they have now taken a stance that only honest debtors can be relieved of all debt. Being honest with yourself is important as it will help you deal with the situation you’re facing, but being honest with the court means you have to list everything you own that could be used to liquidate, failing to do so can result in your bankruptcy claim being ended and investigated by the FBI.

It’s Complicated

There’s no getting around the fact that this process is a complicated one and requires attention and understanding throughout. The forms contain in-depth questions about your finances and require you to be accurate when completing them. If there is anything you don’t understand then you need to give yourself time to read through a detailed description of the bankruptcy process and how it will affect you and your livelihood. Being prepared in this situation will help you with completing forms accurately and making the process as stress-free as possible. You might want to hire a specialist at this time, you don’t want to make a mistake that will cost you even more money or in the worst case find yourself facing jail time.

It’s Not Cheap

Despite the fact you’re filing for bankruptcy, meaning you’re in financial trouble, this process is not a cheap one and will end up costing you money. How much will usually depend on the attorney you’ve hired and if they can do any pro work or end up waving your fee. Rough estimations suggest that filing for bankruptcy with an attorney can cost anything from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, that’s not to say if you don’t use an attorney and sort your case yourself you won’t have to pay anything, the filing fees are still payable and are sizable.

It Will Affect Your Credit

Things Everyone Should Know About BankruptcyEveryone has a credit score, and it’s what we use to judge if we are able to take out a loan or mortgage, have a mobile phone contract or use a credit card. This score is given in numbers and different things affect it in different ways. The lower your score, the less likely you are to be accepted whereas having a high score will often give you benefits when applying for a loan.

Having missed payments of any borrowed money will lower your score a little bit at a time, and running credit checks will also lower your score, which is why it’s important to think about taking out a loan before doing so.

Filing for bankruptcy will lower your score by 100 points on average and will stay on your record for anywhere up to 10 years, you will be debt-free after the process, but you will be unable to apply for any loans or credit cards for many years to come.

Understanding the bankruptcy process is essential to using it as a tool that will benefit your life in the long run, misusing it can leave you with nothing and even end up with you facing a prison sentence. Make sure you research every possible avenue and if you decide that it’s the right way to go, then understand the process. If you’re having financial trouble at the moment, then reach out to your friends and family as they are there to help, once you’ve been honest with yourself and decided you need help then you can look for legal help.

London Mayor Says Iran More Successful Than UK in Battling COVID-19

London Mayor Says Iran More Successful Than UK in Battling COVID-19

Speaking in a video conversation with Tehran’s Mayor Pirouz Hanachi on Friday, Khan said most of the required measures taken in London are similar to those employed in Iran.

He added that London has set strict quarantine regulations since March 23 and people were just allowed to leave their houses for buying food, going to the doctor, conducting sports exercises only once a day and going to special jobs.

Pointing on public transportation in London, Khan noted that the Underground only transfers five percent of passengers and 15 percent of people take the bus.

The London mayor also elaborated on the efforts made by British scientists to treat the novel coronavirus and said a new vaccine recently made by the Oxford University would be tested soon.

Britain is also testing a kind of antibody taken from coronavirus-infected patients who have recovered, he said, adding that an ultimate outcome remains far.

He further vowed to hold talks with British officials about problems caused in the way of Iran’s fight due to the sanctions, expressing hope that the bans would be lifted as soon as possible.

Iran has been doing its utmost to contain the respiratory disease caused by COVID-19 despite the hardships caused by the sanctions.

Tehran has repeatedly said it does not want Washington’s help in the fight, but wants the White House to lift the illegal economic sanctions so that Iran could mobilize its own resources to tackle the pandemic.

The administration of US President Donald Trump has not only defied international calls on Washington in recent weeks to halt the draconian sanctions, but has even slapped more such restrictive measures on the Islamic Republic.

Washington re-imposed its sanctions on Iran in May 2018 after unilaterally leaving a historic nuclear accord with the Islamic Republic and other countries that has been endorsed by the UN Security Council.

Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Abdolnaser Hemmati wrote last month to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to request a $5 billion emergency loan for funding Tehran’s needs in these circumstances.

However, the US has moved to block Iran’s request for the loan, according to various reports.

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said on April 21 that the European Union should fulfill its duties at a time that Washington’s sanctions have caused serious problems for the Iranian people.

Iran fighting against coronavirus, sanctions simultaneously: Hanachi

The mayor of Tehran, for his part, said Iran is fighting against the new coronavirus and sanctions simultaneously.

Hanachi said sanctions have caused many problems for public transportation system in Iran “but Tehran Municipality has carried out effective measures for transferring passengers during the coronavirus pandemic while observing health protocols.”

He added that in spite of the COVID-19 outbreak, startup markets started their activities in Iran and most of the services which used to be offered in person are now presented online.

He noted that Tehran Municipality made its efforts to observe all protocols and health standards in the burial service of the coronavirus victims.

The Iranian administration has recently unveiled six products in the field of diagnosing, screening and combating the new coronavirus, as the country’s officials press on with containment measures to handle the epidemiological crisis.

Sardar Azmoun: The Man on a Mission

Many people would have no idea who you were talking about if you mentioned the name Sardar Azmoun, yet the Iranian player who has been compared to Leo Messi, and you can bet that he has been on the radar of some massive clubs for a long time now.

The 25-year-old was born in Iran, and started his club football career at the age of 9 in Turkmenistan. He played for a few clubs in and around Iran, and during the 2012-13 season, he started to pique the interest of a few European clubs.

January 2103 saw Azmoun move to Rubin Kazan. He had a relatively uneventful first season with the club. He made 8 appearances for the reserve team, and was picked in the matchday squad a number of times, but never made his senior debut.

The 2013-14 season saw Azmoun make his first team debut, in a Europa League game against Jagodina. He scored his first goal in a Europa League match against Molde, and made his league debut and got his first league goal on October 6th against Anzhi Makhachkala.

On the 27th March 2014, Arsenal approached Kazan and made a £2 million offer for the youngster. This offer obviously did not go through, but it did garner the attention of other big clubs such as AC Milan, Juventus, Liverpool, Tottenham and Barcelona.

On the 26th of February 2015, Azmoun was loaned to strugglers FC Rostov for three-and-a-half months, until the end of the season. On the 16th of March he came on as a substitute and scored the winner against Kuban Krasnodar.

At the end of the 2014-15 season, Azmoun decided to extend his stay at Rostov until the end of the 2015-16 season. He continued to play well throughout his time at Rostov, and even though he went through a goal drought, he was able to turn it around and be regarded as one of the most valuable players in the league.

The 2016-2017 season saw some drama come Azmoun’s way. It was thought that Azmoun would return to Kazan, but Rostov triggered his buyout clause. Kazan denied this and continued to claim Azmoun as their player.

Kazan then lodged a complaint with FIFA and Rostov lodged a complaint with the Court of Arbitration for Sport. It was decided in Azmoun’s favor and the player was included in Rostov’s Champions League squad.

Sardar Azmoun The Man on a Mission 1Azmoun’s 2016 season is where he began to really shine. He was scoring consistently, starting consistently, and providing assists for his teammates. This was also the season he garnered the interest of big clubs again, such as Marseille, Liverpool, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.

February 1st 2019 saw Azmoun move to Zenit St. Petersburg with a 3 and half year deal. On his debut for the club, he scored twice and assisted with another goal in a game against Fenerbache in the Europa League.

Azmoun still has the interest of many big clubs, notably, Liverpool. Liverpool scouts have attended some of his games and the club has definitely been one of the most vocal about signing the Iranian superstar.

Liverpool aren’t the only Premier League team showing interest in him. Both Leicester City and West Ham put the player near the top of their transfer list, not bad for an Iranian player in the less popular Russian Premier League.

Both teams are looking to spend about £15 million on the player, but Zenit reportedly don’t want anything less than £30 million for their starlett. Not surprising considering they could definitely get that money if his form continues like it has.

This is also not the first time Leicester have shown interest in the player. Back in 2018, the Foxes were keeping a very close eye on him and were in the process of making a deal but obviously Azmoun stayed at Kazan.

West Ham are another club with a keen interest in Azmoun. Their two frontmen, Sebastian Haller and Albian Ajeti have both disappointed and underperformed, and a solid striker is exactly what they need.

However, they are going to struggle to meet the £30 million price tag considering the current global health crisis and the loss of revenue that many clubs are facing. This could open the door to a team like Liverpool who have been interested in the player since 2016.

All of that does bring us back to the obvious choice of team if Azmoun was to move to the Premier League. Liverpool can afford him, and considering there are talks of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane making a move away from Anfield, they will need a front man replacement.

All of this will most likely be delayed due to the pandemic and if a transfer was to happen, it would almost definitely be during the next transfer window or at the beginning of next season.

Either way, Sardar Azmoun is definitely a player you should keep your eye on. He has been making waves in Russia, and has been getting the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Europe. If he continues to play the way he is playing, it won’t be long before he is pulling on the jersey of a huge club.
