Hungary ‘A Friend of Iran’ in Europe: Rouhani

In a Wednesday meeting with Hungary’s incoming ambassador to Tehran, President Rouhani called for the expansion of political, economic, trade, and cultural relations between Tehran and Budapest.

“We are fully prepared to deepen the bilateral ties (with Hungary) in all fields,” the president told the Hungarian envoy.

Hailing Hungary as a friend of Iran in Europe, President Rouhani said, “The relations between the two countries have been always close and cordial, and we hope to witness a further enhancement of ties during your mission.”

It is necessary to encourage the businesses and corporations of the two countries to broaden economic interaction, the president underlined.

For his part, Hungarian Ambassador Zoltan Varga-Haszonits submitted his letter of credence, saying the main priority during his tenure in Iran is to expand the bilateral relations in the political, economic and cultural spheres.

“I will do my utmost to achieve that goal,” the Hungarian envoy added.

Iran, China Condemn US’ Unilateralism

In a video conference on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi denounced the US’ bully-style unilateralism, and expressed decisive support for multilateralism and the principles of international law.

In the conference, held as part of the constant consultations between Tehran and Beijing, Foreign Minister Zarif lauded China’s successful performance in the fight against the coronavirus, described the reciprocal supports provided by the two nations in this regard as a new opportunity for a display of rapport, and praised the Chinese government and nation for their help in the battle with COVID-19.

For his part, the Chinese Foreign Minister thanked Iran for expressing sympathy for and assisting the Chinese people in the fight against coronavirus.

Foreign Minister Zarif then highlighted the strategic comprehensive relations between the two countries, expressing hope that the document on comprehensive cooperation would be soon signed by the two sides.

He also stressed the importance of enhancement of the trade ties, and proposed making special arrangements to facilitate visits by the business people of the two countries under the shadow of coronavirus.

Foreign Minister Zarif also condemned the interference from the US and certain Western states in the internal affairs of China, saying such approach undermines international stability.

Welcoming the proposals for the expansion and facilitation of the bilateral trade ties, the Chinese Foreign Minister said, “These proposals, especially the reciprocal facilitation of visits by merchants, would be considered immediately.”

Wang Yi also reaffirmed China’s firm support for the JCPOA, pointed to his recent letter to the UN Security Council President and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, and stated, “China is opposed to any attempt to change the contents of the JCPOA and the Security Council Resolution 2231, and the US has no right after withdrawal from the JCPOA to resort to the mechanisms planned in this regard.”

China has already rejected a planned push by the United States to extend a UN arms embargo on Iran and has dismissed Washington’s bid to again become a participant of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal after its unilateral withdrawal from the agreement.

Iran, UN Express Concern over US ‘Caesar Sanctions’ on Syria

Iran, UN Express Concern over US 'Caesar Sanctions' on Syria

In a telephone conversation on Wednesday, Pedersen and Khaji discussed the latest political and on-the-ground developments in Syria, an upcoming virtual summit of the Astana Process guarantor states, the next meeting of Syria’s Constitutional Committee, the latest situation in Idlib and southern Syria, as well as the economic conditions and the problems that sanctions have caused for the people of Syria.

The Iranian and the UN diplomats deplored the extremely worrying consequences of the unilateral economic sanctions for the life of Syrian people, and stressed the necessity of increasing humanitarian assistance to counter the sanctions and proceeding with the political process for the peaceful settlement of the Syrian issue.

In the telephone conversation, the senior assistant to Iran’s foreign minister condemned the illegal and inhumane sanctions imposed by the US, calling for the removal of the bans.

Khaji also noted that the new US sanctions, known as the Caesar Act, have been imposed with the purpose of putting pressure on the Syrian people and pursuing the US’ illegitimate objectives by resorting to economic terrorism, stressing that such hostile measures could not undermine the Syrian people and their allies’ determination to continue supports for that country’s people and legitimate government.

What Alternative Did Investors Flee to during Oil Price Crash?

What alternative did Iranian investors flee to during the oil price crash?

Oil prices were under intense pressure in recent weeks and continued to decline even after OPEC+ countries agreed to reduce oil production by 9.7 million barrels per day.

Oil price crash led some Iranian investors to try Forex trading. And it is not surprising because Forex has numerous traits that are beneficial for investors. Most Iranians are looking for the best international Forex broker 2020 because they think it is very hard to conduct trading without the help of an intermediary, so this is the moment where brokers come in handy.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia made it clear that it could begin to reduce oil production ahead of schedule. It is possible that it will be followed by other OPEC member countries, writes the American newspaper Wall Street Journal.

Countries that are heavily reliant on oil, for instance, Russia, as well as, the USA have seen difficulties in their countries. During the oil price crash, Iranian investors were forced to seek other alternatives, and in this article, we will talk about these alternatives.

Switching to FX trading for a living

First of all, in Forex, there is no need for special education and Iranian investors find it too attractive. In order to start trading or investing your money in Forex, you do not need any special education or diploma. Today, on the Internet, there are lots of articles, video tutorials, and books that provide comprehensive information about Internet trading.

Also, they do not need to organize a specific schedule. You can engage in Forex trading when your schedule allows you. Internet trading is available day, morning, and night. Simply, you need to choose the most convenient time for yourself, when nothing will distract you from this activity. It is worth noting that you can work in the financial market anywhere, most importantly, have a tablet, laptop or computer and good Internet access nearby.

Furthermore, for Iranian investors, it is a way to earn more money. One of the most heart-warming virtues of Forex trading is profitability. You can earn on trading, and the main thing is to study this area well. With competent work, the risks of loss of funds are minimal.

Switch to stocks from top Forex brokers

Amid the declining prices of oil, stocks have also become alluring for Iranians. Even though it requires a comprehensive analysis, good knowledge of the market, still it is a very popular activity among Iranians.

If we compare it to Forex trading stocks could be perceived as a more popular investment. During the coronavirus, stocks were changing rapidly, and a lot of people managed to make a fortune. And Iranian investors were one of them as well.

Gold trading with FX brokers and otherwise

Of all the trading tools that are available on the Forex market, traders often use gold for investment and, as a rule, to diversify risks. Iranian investors are not exceptions in this regard. Gold has always been considered a safe haven. In times of political and economic crises, or in times of uncertainty in the markets, investors acquire this asset in order to at least save, and to earn as much as possible, by selling metal after the situation stabilizes.

Gold is a volatile instrument when trading it is necessary to take into account a large number of factors, both technical and fundamental.

Most likely, economic instability in the world will only grow, which means that traders will invest in large precious metals as an asset-refuge. And now, perhaps, is the right time to buy gold. Iranian investors definitely took into account the current trend, and because of that, gold has also been very popular.

Iran Warns IAEA, Europe about Submitting to US, Israel Pressure

Iran Warns IAEA, Europe about Submitting to US, Israel Pressure

“I want to warn the European countries and the IAEA. Our behaviour toward the agency has been friendly and within the framework of the law,” President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday.

“We have always cooperated with the agency. The IAEA’s inspectors have been present on a daily basis and inspected the locations they wanted to, and they filed reports accordingly,” the president added.

He said the agency has repeatedly announced in its numerous reports that Iran has always fully cooperated with them both over the Iran nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and otherwise.

“Recently, the Zionist regime [of Israel] and the US regime put pressure on the agency, and I’m afraid these wicked entities might contaminate the agency, and force the agency, which is supposed to always make precise, fair and proper judgements, to bring up old issues,” the president added.

He said the IAEA only has a duty to give assurance to the world that nuclear materials are under supervision and tell countries how materials are being used.

“The agency has no other responsibility,” the president said.

“The agency is there to say that activities are peaceful, and peaceful activity means the agency keeps track of materials and monitors [nuclear] activities,” he said.

“Now the Israeli and US regimes are pressuring the agency to go deal with an issue which dates back to 18 or 20 years ago,” he noted.

The president said Washington and Tel Aviv are duping the IAEA into deviating from its path.

The president said Iran has always worked closely with the agency and moves forward with that cooperation.

“But the agency should take care not to get off its legal path,” he said.

The president underlined that the Europeans are shamefaced before Iran because they have failed to make good on their commitments under the JCPOA.

“They apologize to us, both on the phone and in person, for having failed to fulfill their duties,” he said.

Meanwhile, President Rouhani thanked China and Russia as well as some other countries for refusing to give in to US pressure and for acting in accordance with the law.

He called on the IAEA to save the face of the agency as “the agency’s respect is very important for the international system.”

“The agency’s respect should be preserved and we are ready to help them,” he said.

“Iran is ready as ever to accept the agency’s legal supervisions and work closely with the agency, but only within the framework of the law,” he said.

US Must Apologize, Pay Compensation

Elsewhere in his remarks, President Rouhani touched upon Washington’s offer of talks with Tehran.

“Recently, the White House has kept saying that it is ready for negotiations,” he said.
The president said Iran will sit down for talks only when the US begins to respect the law and UN regulations and deliver on its commitments under the JCPOA, and only when the US Congress and White House together move away from the wrong path and rejoin the P5+1 group.

“They should comply with the law and apologize, make up for the harm they have done to the Iranian nation and pay damages, and come forward within the framework of the law,” said the president.

“We have no problems. They were the ones who created problems. They broke the negotiating table,” he said.

However, he said, Iran knows that the US offer of talk is just “baseless rhetoric.”
“If they really mean it, if they are not lying, … they should apologize and return to rules and regulations. Then they will see that the Iranian government and nation, as always, will move within the framework of justice, fairness, law and international regulations,” he added.

Iran Working Hard to Develop Vaccine for COVID-19: Health Minister

5 Iranian COVID-19 Vaccines on WHO’s List of Vaccines Candidates

Saeid Namki said on Wednesday that two prominent teams at knowledge-based companies are working in that domain.

“We have made good progress, but it is still too early to unveil our work. In the coming days, good news will be announced about a vaccine for coronavirus,” said the minister.
Meanwhile, he underlined that no definitive vaccine has been developed for the disease yet.

“So far, no specific drug has been discovered for COVID-19, and the world is working on finding a vaccine,” he said.

He also touched upon the fee charged for the coronavirus test.

“Individuals should get into the health ministry’s network to take the test; in that case, they won’t be charged,” he said.

“In fact, those we deem necessary to be tested as the target group won’t be charged, but if someone wants to take the test on his own, they can go to private laboratories which do the test based on officially approved fees,” he added.
