According to a report by IRNA, as translated by IFP, the Res Artis Meeting will take place under the title “Roots and Routes: Challenges and Opportunities of Connectivity”.
Through a number of panels, roundtable discussions and workshop sessions, the meeting will address the different interpretations and inherent implications history and traditions bear for residency spaces as well as shedding light on the importance of artists’ pathways and connectivity of residencies.
Against the backdrop of the cultural landscape in Iran and its placement in the wider region, participants can contextualize and discuss different approaches to artist residencies as well as topics like sustainability and funding with regard to their own region.
