Tehran Symphony Orchestra features first female conductor in historic performance

The Tehran Symphony Orchestra has been led by a woman for the first time in its history, marking a significant milestone in Iran’s classical music landscape. The orchestra performed a program titled “Land of the Simorgh” under the baton of Paniz Faryousefi at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall this week.
