Yemeni, Palestinian Groups Condemn Arab League’s Anti-Hezbollah Statement

Hezbollah

The groups described the statement of Arab League foreign ministers following their emergency meeting in Cairo as dangerous and said Hezbollah is the most significant force standing against the Zionist regime’s aggression and terrorism, a Farsi report by IRNA said.

The Palestinian groups said accusing Hezbollah of conducting terrorist attacks is aimed at offering services to the US and the Zionist regime and satisfying Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, former President of the Revolutionary Council of Yemen, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, said as expected the emergency meeting of the Arab League foreign ministers ended in no tangible result.

“The meeting had no result and was held on request of Saudi Arabia, which intended to say it will not sit idle towards the regional developments,” he said on his twitter account.

During the Arab League meeting, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir said his country will not stand idly by in the face of Iran’s “blatant aggression”.

The Yemeni politician went on to say Arab League was expected to discuss Israel’s threats including its atomic weapons instead of pointing the blame finger at Hezbollah.

On Sunday, the Arab League foreign ministers held an extraordinary general meeting in the Egyptian capital at the request of Saudi Arabia. At the end of the meeting, the participants issued a statement accusing Iran of interfering in the internal affairs of the countries in the region and pursuing aggressive policies against Arab states.

Iran Intercepts Two Human Cargos

Iran Intercepts Two Human Cargos

“In an incoming cargo, Iran Customs Administration officers found a young girl who had hidden in a Turkish truck’s cargo box. She wanted to pass through Bazargan border crossing to illegally enter Iran,” a Farsi report by IRNA said on Monday.

The girl’s motivation is not yet clear but officers say she is Iranian.

Meanwhile, in another outgoing cargo, the customs officers intercepted a teenage boy from a regional state who was seeking to illegally leave Iran for an unknown destination.

Having made all its information and management systems smart, Iran Customs Administration has now full control over all imported and exported cargos.

According to a report by Worlds’ Customs Organization, Iran ranks first across the world in fight against smuggling of goods and drugs.

Iran Customs Administration offices across the country are now equipped with the cutting-edge controlling technologies. Just within the past Iranian calendar year, the customs officers intercepted at least 480 cases of human trafficking.

Meanwhile, the number of advanced controlling systems including Cargo X-ray scanners has tripled in Iran over the past years. The number has been on rise rapidly during this year.

Back in last Iranian calendar year, Iran Customs Administration bought 10 detection dogs to be used in offices across the country. The number of the dogs are set to increase to 30 by the end of this year.

Human trafficking is a modern slavery which includes recruiting people for prostitution as well as hard work in factories, restaurants, farms and construction projects.

Following drug and weapons smuggling, human trafficking is the third lucrative illegal business in the world.

Iran President Arrives in Russia’s Sochi for Syria Talks

Iran President Arrives in Russia’s Sochi for Syria Talks

Russian President Vladimir Putin will host Rouhani and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan for summit talks on Syria at his official residence in the Black Sea resort of Sochi.

The three-way summit comes as Tehran, Moscow and Turkey cooperate with increasing intensity to end the conflict in Syria, even though Ankara officially stands on the opposite side of the conflict.

The three countries are already sponsoring peace talks in the Kazakh capital of Astana and also implementing a plan to establish de-escalation zones in key flashpoint areas of Syria.

The militant-held northwestern province of Idlib, the central province of Homs and the Eastern Ghouta area outside Damascus are the regions which the three countries want to establish as the de-escalation zones.

The talks in Astana have been going on in tandem with another series of talks held in Geneva and brokered by the UN.

Sponsors of ISIS Terrorists Should Be Put on Trial: Iran

ISIS

“Today with the total defeat of the illusory Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, it has been proved once again that terrorism and the ideological, financial, political and military sponsors of this divisive phenomenon are doomed to failure,” a foreign ministry statement said on Tuesday.

“These sponsors should be put on trial in international courts and be held accountable before the consciences of vigilant nations over their crimes, massacre, destructions and displacement of millions of innocent and defenceless people,” it added.

The full text of the statement is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Today after six years of heroic and valiant resistance against all American-Zionist plots in the region, and by virtue of the guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution and courage of honourable Iranian top commander, Major General Soleimani, the last glimmer of hope of the so-called “Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant” has died.

Now, the glorious flag of the victory of truth over falsehood and the big triumph of the Resistance Axis’ courageous men has been hoisted above the last bastions of wickedness, slaughter and crime.

It seems another important chapter has opened in the history of the vulnerable region of West Asia with the cooperation, coordination and courage shown by all resistance forces and the regional states in fight against terrorism, extremism and carnage of innocent people. These forces and states have taken strong, practical, and long steps in fight against terror and this is expected to put the region and the whole world to the test against a historical experience.

Those who stood by the oppressed nations of Syria and Iraq during the unrest and dark years of human history paid a high price with a strong determination for defending the dignity of human being during battle or negotiations as well as in fight against hate-mongering and aggressive persons. So, today, they are proudly boasting wholeheartedly about their unsparing support for the Arab and Islamic Umma.

But those who spared no effort to loot the properties of their brothers and sisters and only fanned the flame of an unjust and shameful war are still treading their wrong and scandalous path by spending hefty budgets in holding hollow and futile conferences and gatherings to cover their countless mistakes and crimes and finding partners for their horrible crimes to avoid facing tomorrow’s vigilant consciousness and societies which will put on trial those behind today’s carnage and destructions.

Under such circumstances, they are expected to show further viciousness, hatch new plots, and take deviant measures to divide the regional nations. It goes without saying that coping with them requires vigilance and attentions of the region and the Islamic world’s nations and governments.

Today with the total defeat of the illusory Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, it has been proved once again that terrorism and the ideological, financial, political and military sponsors of this divisive phenomenon are doomed to failure. These sponsors should be put on trial in international courts and be held accountable before the consciences of vigilant nations over their crimes, massacre, destructions and displacement of millions of innocent and defenceless people.

The foreign ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran calls for an end to the illusory and false wishes leading to the death of people from every religion and faith. It also feels upon itself to congratulate all freedom-seeking nations of the region, particularly the Resistance fighters, IRGC military advisors, Hezbollah forces and other military units, on this glorious achievement and defeat of terrorism.

We also hail their honest efforts to cleanse the region of the malice of ISIS militants. Meanwhile, we also praise the support and participation of Russian government in this sensitive phase of fight against terrorism.

The foreign ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran admits that the region and the world are standing at a “large historical turn”. So, we don’t spare any effort to support the courageous fight of the resistance forces in their battle and contribute honestly to any collective measures aimed at establishing regional and international peace, stability and security.

Lebanese PM Hariri Finally Arrives Back in Beirut

Lebanese PM Hariri Finally Arrives Back in Beirut

Hariri arrived in Beirut early on Wednesday after a trip to Cyprus for a meeting with the country’s president, Nicos Anastasiades.

Earlier in the day, he made a brief visit to Egypt for talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.

During a joint presser with Sisi, Hariri thanked Sisi for his support, noting that he would not elaborate on his resignation until he reached Beirut.

He added that both parties had discussed the need for “distancing oneself from regional policies.”

“Tomorrow we have independence day in Lebanon, God willing it will be for all Lebanese. Like I said in Paris, my political position will be (clarified) in Lebanon,” he added.

Hariri announced his resignation in a televised statement on November 4, citing many reasons, including the security situation in Lebanon, for his sudden decision. He also said that he sensed a plot being hatched against his life.

Hariri accused Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement of meddling in Arab countries’ affairs; an allegation the two have repeatedly denied.

Iran Leader Praises Gen. Soleimani’s “Great Service to Mankind”

Iran’s Leader Okays Allocation of €1 Billion to Fight COVID-19

In a Tuesday response to General Soleimani’s earlier message, the Leader said victory over ISIS was a heavy blow on the malicious policy pursued by certain states in the region to wage civil war and sow the seeds of division among regional nations.

The full text of the message follows.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

To the Honourable Commander of Islam and the Fighter of Allah’s Path, Major General Qassem Soleimani

I’m grateful to the Almighty God from the bottom of my heart for the grace he bestowed to the self-sacrificing attempts made by you and the large number of your fellow fighters at various levels so that you could uproot the malicious tree planted by the arrogant despots of the world in Iraq and Syria.

The defeat of ISIS was not just a blow on this oppressive and disgraceful group. It was also a heavier blow inflicted on the malicious policy pursued by certain states to wage a civil war in the region, destroy the anti-Israel resistance front and undermine independent countries through aggressive heads of the deviant group. It was a blow on the previous and current governments of the US and its dependent regimes in the region which created ISIS and provided it with all kinds of support to spread their hegemony across the West Asia and making the occupying Zionist regime dominant.

However, by uprooting this cancerous tumour, you have delivered a huge service not only to the regional and Islamic states but to all nations and mankind in general.

This divine victory reminds us of a verse in the holy Quran which says the victory was not made by you but Allah. It was a reward given by Allah in return for your relentless endeavour.

I sincerely congratulate you on this great victory but at the same time warn against overlooking enemy plots.

Those who had hatched the nasty plot of ISIS through their hefty investments will not remain silent and will do whatever in their power to revive the group in another shape in other parts of the region.

Keeping your motivation alive, remaining vigilant, preserving unity, removing any trace of dangerous remnant of the group, launching insightful cultural measures and in sum, having an all-out preparedness should not be forgotten. I pray for you and your fellow fighters in Iraq, Syria and other parts of the world.

“Iran Nuclear Deal Key Test for Int’l Cooperation in Other Domains”

In a phone conversation on Tuesday, Rouhani and Macron discussed the most important bilateral, regional and international issues.

Rouhani touched upon the nuclear deal signed between Iran and six world powers known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and appreciated Paris’ efforts to consolidate the international agreement.

“From Iran’s point of view, the implementation, to the letter, of the JCPOA is an important test for cooperation in other areas on the international stage, and on the other hand, adding parts to the agreement or omitting parts from it will lead to the total collapse of the deal,” said Rouhani.

He also touched upon the defeat of the ISIS terrorist group, saying the destruction of the strongholds of the group, as the biggest and most dangerous terror group in the region and in the world, is good news for all countries.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran’s main objective is to fight terrorism, and we believe that after ISIS, other terrorist groups should be tackled, too,” said Rouhani.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Rouhani thanked the French government, president and nation for sympathizing with the Iranian people and government over the deadly earthquake which recently struck western Iran.

President Rouhani also told his opposite number that Iran stands ready to enhance its relations with France in all areas of mutual interest as well as regional and international domains based on mutual respect and common interests.

The French president, in turn, stressed the need to forge closer cooperation between Tehran and Paris in all areas.

He said all countries should endeavour to preserve the JCPOA, and that France remains fully committed to the deal.

Macron underlined that the JCPOA boosts confidence-building.

“US, Israel Could be Plotting to Disintegrate Saudi Arabia by 2030”

Major General Yahya Safavi, an advisor to Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, touched upon a report by the US, saying the survey suggests there will be no regime with the name “Al Saud” in the Middle East by 2030, and that there is a possibility of Saudi Arabia’s disintegration.

“We Muslims are all of the opinion that the integrity of the Arabian Peninsula and of Mecca and Medina must be preserved. However, the Americans and Zionists want to drag Saudi rulers into annihilation with their own despotic acts, tyranny and plots,” he underscored, according to a Farsi report by Fars.

He then touched upon the Arab League’s recent anti-Iran statement, saying, “It is a major disgrace for certain governments to be in the pay of Saudi dollars and call Hezbollah a terrorist entity.”

He then touched upon the recent victories by the resistance front in Syria, saying the Syrian popular forces along with Iranian military advisors and the Syrian army managed to retake large areas from militants.

The top commander then referred to the plight of Yemeni people who are under Saudi attacks.

“Millions of Yemeni children are exposed to diseases such as cholera and risk losing their lives due to illnesses and food shortages. How is it that the ministerial meeting of the Arab League hasn’t issued a statement to condemn Saudi atrocities and crimes, and has remained silent?” he asked ironically.

Tehran to Host Int’l Conference on Countering Terrorism

Titled “The World Conference on Lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and the Takfiri Issue”, the two-day event is slated to open in Tehran on Wednesday.

It will focus on the principles shared by the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt -the family of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)- and weigh plans for countering Takfiri and extremist ideologies through Muslim unity.

Back in June, the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening had invited intellectuals and scholars from around the world to submit their contributions to the secretariat of the assembly for presentation in the conference.

The international gathering is planned to discuss the following six main topics:

– Concepts, foundations, and thoughts of lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS);

– History and civilization of Islamic religions and its role in the establishment of modern Islamic civilization;

– Ideas of top Muslim thinkers and scholars in the formation of a single, united Muslim nation in the face of deviated groups;

– Alliance and integrity of lovers of Ahl al Bayt (AS) in the formation of a single, united nation;

– Identification of challenges and threats facing the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and the Muslims world

– Strategies and solutions to the unity of the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in the face of enemies of Islam (global arrogance, Zionism, reactionary regimes and Takfiri groups).

The World Assembly of Islamic Awakening has held several meetings and conferences in recent years to strengthen Muslim bonds, support the cause of Palestine and counter Zionist policies, and fight against the ideologies of Takfiri, radical, and terrorist groups.

“Where Was Arab League When ISIS Was Beheading Syrians?”

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday took a swipe at the Arab League for its support for Saudi Arabia, a country which has launched aggression on Yemen.

“It’s very regrettable that at a time when people in the region have done a great feat, the foreign ministers of a dilapidated, weak and ineffective organization called the Arab League get together while obsessed with only one issue, and that is why Yemeni people managed to fire a missile at Riyadh in response to all the bombardments by Saudi Arabia, which has committed so many crimes against Yemeni people and keeps bombarding them every day,” said the president, according to a Farsi report by his official website.

“Where was the Arab League when Iraqi people were at the mercy of ISIS, when Syrian people were beheaded [by terrorists], when Yemeni people were under intense bombardments, as they are now,” asked the president ironically.

“Where was the Arab League the day when terrorists, including those of ISIS and al-Qaeda, had taken control of Arsal heights in Lebanon and threatened the people of that country?”

He said the Arab League is upset about Yemen having managed to increase the range of its missiles.

The president also said, “In today’s world, we should stand on our own feet.”

Eradication of ISIS in Syria

He further congratulated Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Iranian Armed Forces, and the Iranian, Iraqi, Syrian and Lebanese nations on the eradication of the ISIS terrorist group in Syria.

Rouhani said ISIS was a group which brought with it nothing but evil, misery, destruction, massacre and savagery.

He said ISIS terrorists receiving financial support from certain regional countries took women with them and sold some of them in the market, decapitated people, and had mercy on no one.

“By God’s grace and thanks to the struggles of the regional nations, we can say today that people have got rid of this evil, or at least, are suffering much less [than before],” President Rouhani noted.

“Of course, the fallout from [the crimes of] this group and those who have spread out in villages will continue to be there, but their base and root have been destroyed, and it was a big feat,” he noted.
