Iran Says Won’t Permit Development of Dolphinariums

Hamid Zahrabi, a deputy director of the Department of Environment, says the government is against the development of dolphinariums and the exploitation of other animals in circuses.

“We believe recreational centres can be constructed without harassing animals. Therefore, I do not agree with the development of dolphinariums, and we have issued an instruction to prevent the development of these centres,” noted Zahrabi.

Although animals in dolphinariums are usually born in captivity and are not directly separated from the nature, in any case, they are trained under pressure to do things that are not naturally occurring, he added.

Iran Says Won’t Permit Development of Dolphinariums“Measures to train animals in these centres are not acceptable and, according to numerous religious decrees (fatwas), such exploitation of animals is not permissible and in some cases is Haram,” maintained Zahrabi.

The official further pointed out that studies show between 2009 and 2018, thirteen dolphinariums were shut down in 10 countries, mostly due to the unpleasant living conditions of marine mammals, including whales and dolphins in these centers.

Recently, the issue of launching a dolphinarium in the southern city of Ahvaz has been raised in the media and, as it is said the officials of the recreation centre are seeking to use animals such as sea lion, seals, and penguins next to dolphins.

Iran Says All Illegal Foreign Forces Must Leave Syria

Iran Will Definitely Change Approach to UAE: Top General

“[Those foreign] forces who are present in Syria without any authorization from the country’s government must leave the Syrian soil as soon as possible,” Chairman of the Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri said upon his arrival in Damascus on Sunday.

Baqeri added that he plans to take part in a tripartite meeting with senior Syrian and Iraqi commanders to coordinate efforts made by the three countries in their fight against terrorism and also to discuss the withdrawal of foreign forces from Syria.

“As Iran has come to Syria at the official invitation of Syria’s government, the presence of other countries should also take place through the Syrian government’s coordination and authorization,” Baqeri said.

Saying that Iran, Syria, Russia and Iraq as well as the resistance front have managed to make great achievements during the recent years in the fight against terrorism thanks to their remarkable coordination, the top Iranian commander added that efforts would continue to fully liberate Syria.

Baqeri noted that he would hold separate talks with military officials of Syria and Iraq on ways to boost cooperation among the three countries’ armed forces.

Back in December, the top Iranian military commander said despite its mainly peaceful defense doctrine, the Islamic Republic maintains powerful military presence in the region, warning certain regional countries against inviting the US to the Persian Gulf to hatch plots against Iran.

“Regional enemies of Iran must know that in parallel to its peaceful doctrine, the Islamic Republic of Iran maintains powerful and firm military presence, and if need be, it would not only defend its territorial integrity, but also hold the inviting countries responsible for any consequences,”Baqeri said.

Over the past years, Iran and Russia have been respectively lending military advisory support and aerial backup to the Syrian military in its battle against Takfiri terrorists.

US Pressures Won’t Break Iran, President Rouhani Says

Speaking to reporters on Monday after the last cabinet session in the current Iranian year, Rouhani said the archenemies of Iran have made every effort to disrupt the Iranian people’s normal life and stop the country’s progress.

Hitting back at the critics who blame the government’s mismanagement for the existing problems in Iran, the president said, “The US, Zionism and regional reactionary (regimes) have created such conditions for the country.”

He took a swipe at the US, Zionists and reactionary regional states for upsetting the foreign currency market in Iran, adding that his administration worked hard and could handle the situation.

Denouncing the US withdrawal from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and imposing tough sanctions against Iran, the president said, “They (Americans) think they can return to Iran by continuing pressures, and their objective is to return to Tehran, but this is impossible as this (Iranian) nation will keep resisting.”

The president also highlighted Iran’s victories over the US in the international arena, pointing to court rulings in favor of the Islamic Republic.

Rouhani further called on the administrative officials to lodge a case against the US authorities who have engineered sanctions against Iran, which he branded as crimes against humanity.

“The world should know that what the US has done against Iran has targeted the people’s ordinary life and foodstuff, and the judicial case (to be brought by Iran) would specify the measures we should do in future,” he added.

In May 2018, the US president pulled his country out of the JCPOA, the nuclear deal that was achieved in Vienna in 2015 after years of negotiations among Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany).

Following the US exit, Iran and the remaining parties launched talks to save the accord.

Kale Pache; Unusual Iranian Dish All Tourists Must Try

Kale Pache, which literally means [sheep] head and trotter in Persian, is cooked in different countries almost in the same way. It is prepared by cooking the head, arms, legs and the inner organs of the sheep (or calf). It includes the tongue, brain, eyes, head’s flesh and trotters of the sheep.

According to Iranian medicine experts, people with acute and dry cough and those with hemorrhoids who have a good digestive tract can use Kalle-pache with vinegar, honey and cinnamon.

However, people suffering from heart disease and diabetic patients should not eat this food.

Recipe for Kale Pache plus add-ons:

The first stage in the cooking process is to trim the sheep head and trotters. Clean them well and pound the head hard on a surface so that the mucus and other waste inside the sheep’s nasal passage are completely out.

You can use a brush to clean the teeth. Use heat to burn the very tiny hair on the sheep head and then remove them using a knife.

Then wash the sheep head again so that black color fully fades away and leave it to dry. Now dice the onions and put them inside a big pot.

Second stage:

Here, you should add some oil to the onions and fry them until they get lighter. Next, grate the garlics and add them to the pot. Let the garlics fry for about two minutes and emit their fragrance. It is time to add some ginger, cinnamon sticks, black pepper, and turmeric to the pot and let them fry for one minute. Then add the sheep head and totters to the pot slowly.

Third stage:

In this stage, add some water to the pot to the level that it covers the ingredients. Add some lime juice and turn up the flame to the maximum level for it to start boiling sooner. When it reaches the boiling level, remove the foam from over the top of the liquid. This improves the taste and smell. Then, turn down the heat to the lowest level possible.

Fourth stage:

Give it eight hours to get cooked slowly and generate oil. At the same time, add peas to a container and soak them in water for some time.

When the Kale Pache is well done, remove the broth, pass it through a strainer, return it inside the pot, and let the ingredients get cooked for another 20 minutes.

Final stage:

Separate the oil created over the broth using a ladle and pour it inside a small pot with some cinnamon powder before boiling it with the stove flame turned up.

How to serve the Kale Pache

Now we move the pot from over the heat. Then, we trim the head and trotters and pour them on a big platter.

Then we pour the Kale Pache broth into a bowl, and we add a mixture of oil and cinnamon to each bowl.

Additionally, we serve fresh Sangak bread, vegetables, and lemon with the Kale Pache.

Frequently asked questions

1. How can you cook Kale Pache with a pressure cooker?

First, we put the head and trotters together with the other ingredients mentioned above into the pressure cooker, then we put the cap firmly in place and put it on the stove. It will be ready in two hours.

If, however, you would like to get a taste of the real stuff, make sure to cook traditionally.

2. How can you trim the sheep brain?

Remember that inside the sheep’s brain, there is an inedible gland, which you should remove after preparing the Kale Pache. The sheep brain has a soft texture so you can easily find the gland using your hand.

Iranian Media Condemn West’s Double Standards on New Zealand Terror Attack

The carnage happened when a white-supremacist started shooting at worshippers at two mosques. The attacker also posted a racist manifesto online, praising US president Donald Trump as “a symbol of renewed white identity.”

Iranian newspapers in their Saturday and Sunday editions widely covered the terrorist attack, discussing various aspects of the crime, especially the dangerous trend of Islamophobia and double-standard policies of the West.

Iranian reformist daily E’temad wrote a piece on the incident the full text of which follows:

Over the past decade, Australia has turned into one of the West’s strongly anti-migrant countries. The fact that the assailant behind Friday’s attack in New Zealand was an Australian-born citizen bears witness to the effects of anti-migrant policies adopted by Canberra. Some rightist and ultra-right governments in Europe, too, have recently adopted the Australian model as a successful mechanism to keep migrants from entering their soil.

Claims of tolerance and of the coexistence of different ethnic and religious groups side by side has become a thing of the past nowadays.

Over the past decades, European countries were regarded as pioneers of advocating refugees and migrants’ rights. They founded many institutions and initiated numerous international agreements in order to support asylum-seekers’ rights. However, they have now turned into leaders of a campaign against refugees, trying to separate nations and religions from one another.

The measures adopted by Australia over the past years were so heart-wrenching that they even made the most radical anti-migrant governments concerned about the fate of migrants in the Pacific Ocean.

In fact, Australia does not even care about migrants’ right to live and refuses to provide the minimum requirements for their living. These anti-migrant polices which have turned into anti-human policies have gradually had an impact on the Australian public opinion and its people’s culture. Australia, a country which, itself, was established based on the migration of people from south and east Europe, is gradually turning into a place for forming terrorist ideologies against migrants and followers of other ethnic and religious groups. A clear example of that was Friday’s terrorist incident in New Zealand in which dozens of Muslims were killed. The promotion of the Islamophobia and anti-migrant culture as well as failure to seriously combat such sentiments and cultures will leave the door open for more such criminal acts to happen.

Freedom of Speech for Islamophobia

Today, we are seeing anti-migrant and anti-Islamic comments, propaganda and policies by all official and unofficial as well as private and state media, governments and NGOs all across the Western world on a daily basis.

Among the moves which have become the order of the day in Western countries are to associate Islam with violence, demonize Muslims and people in the Middle East, and create restrictions for individuals simply because they belong to a specific geographical area or a specific religion. If similar acts, even on a scale of one to a thousand, were done to religious minorities such as Christians, then Western media and governments would shout in protest. Nevertheless, not a single day or hour passes without Muslims in West being discriminated against or humiliated, or their rights being violated. But no objection is made to such moves due to the anti-Muslim and anti-migrant culture there.

Meanwhile, the conservative Javan daily also reacted to the recent terrorist attack against Muslims in New Zealand. The full text of the article published in the newspaper in that regard follows.

Trump-Loving Terrorist

It seems the racist policies adopted by US President Donald Trump against Muslims have had an impact on radicals in countries in the East as well and they kill Muslims under the influence of Trump’s approach.

In a 74-page manifesto, the terrorist behind the New Zealand attacks has praised Trump, calling him “a symbol of renewed white identity.”

The murderer, who has racist and Islamophobic ideas, has stressed that he hates Muslims and those who have converted to Islam. In a video, the terrorist says he wanted to tell Muslims that they cannot encroach upon the territories of white people, and that the land of White people will never become a place for Muslims.

West’s Double Standards

They term the murderer a “patient” at a certain time, and a “terrorist” at some other time.

[Iran’s Ambassador to Britain] Hamid Baeidinejad published on his Twitter page excerpts from news stories run by the BBC Persian Service about the New Zealand terror act as well as the knife attack in London.

“Senior BBC officials brought so much justification in order not to term ‘an act of terror’ attacks by ISIS and separatists in Iran. But in the eyes of the BBC Persian, there is only one yardstick against which to judge whether or not an attack is a terrorist act. When such acts are committed in Western countries against non-Muslims, they call them terrorist acts and give them extensive coverage. But when Muslims are targeted by terrorists, they simply call it ‘an attack’ and describe the perpetrator behind the crime a psychopath,” he wrote.

Does Online PR Distribution Really Boost Your Brand?

Newswires or press release distribution sites syndicate releases to their network of journalists, influencers, and media outlets. Others are even partnering with other popular PR services to provide a wider network. It appears on search engines, other sites, and locations that widen an organization’s reach and exposure and build brand awareness.

Does online distribution really help a business? In what way? Does it deliver long-term results?

You may have a lot of questions in your mind if you haven’t tried online distribution. You may wonder if it can provide you with good ROI or will it help you establish your brand.

Let’s discuss how including it in your marketing tactics can help grow your brand.

  1. You can establish your brand as an expert.

This may be your goal right now, to be an industry leader or expert. Although you are a new business, becoming an expert can be done with the help of publishing releases on a regular basis.

Start writing topics that focus on your strengths as a brand. Talk about the issues happening in the country or society right now. Piggybacking on these issues can be a great point to show your perspective.

Write white papers. Tackle how your brand can solve the issues.

Provide new information in your industry. Maybe you have made your own study or research that will provide a solution to a problem, or will improve the lives of people.

You can set a trend that will make you a thought leader in your niche. Perhaps you have a new method or a breakthrough product that will help a lot of people and your industry.

If you can write these topics more frequently, people will see you as an expert. It’s one way to gain trust and credibility. Everything follows once you have built trust.

Use press release distribution sites to syndicate your press releases. Get a monthly or annual plan to stay on top of the news.

  1. It boosts your site traffic.

When you distribute releases using quality press release service, more people visit your site leading to more traffic. More people will be inquiring about your business like what products or services you offer, how they can order, or what makes you stand out in the market.

When you have more visitors to your site, it means that you have more opportunities to generate new leads. You have more chances to promote your brand, and more opportunities to grow your business.

Having a lot of people visiting your site is not all about the numbers. Take a look at the deeper impact of having more site traffic. You’ll hire more people to work with you, open new branches, add more products or services, boost your sales, and more.

These developments are the signs that your business is growing. If you think that more site traffic is enough, it’s not. You should ensure that you have quality traffic.

Why? When you have the right visitors on your site, you’ll have better conversion rates.

  1. You get immediate exposure.

Most new businesses fail because they weren’t able to get much exposure. Although you’re just a startup, you should work on your exposure early on.

Begin it with the introduction of your new product. What features are unique to your offer?

Did you come up with a catchy slogan that people can’t forget? Do you have a unique product design?

Although this tactic is crucial, you shouldn’t forget to solve some issues. Successful businesses are successful because their products made the lives of their target better.

Remember these things when writing a release and using a newswire to distribute your release.

Using press release distribution services can provide immediate exposure. They have a network of reporters, influencers, publications, sites, and other locations. It is integrated with social media which enables you to reach people and places that are hard to reach without using the wire.

  1. It increases your sales.

Distributing content via the wire service helps grow your sales. Since the majority of newswires offer to target by locations, industry, or beat, you get your news in front of your target customers.

These are the people who have an interest in your product or service. Your story reaches the people who have the interest to buy from you.

Moreover, using online distribution services ensure that releases are optimized for search engines. If your release appears on top of the search results, it attracts visitors to your site.

As discussed above, more traffic leads to higher conversion rates. More people means that there are more people who may have the interest to dive into your marketing funnel.

  1. It helps manage your reputation.

These days, it’s so easy for you to get attacked online. Some businesses fail because they forget to prepare during these times of crisis.

Issuing a release through online distribution can help you address the issues right away and mitigate the crisis. Using a platform like newswires ensures that your news is distributed to a big network at once.

In times of crisis, you don’t have to panic. You can use a wire service that provides a writing service to do all the work. After seeing the first draft, you can easily set it up for distribution.

The earlier you can issue a release, the better. You can save your reputation from being damaged and maintain your credibility.

  1. It improves your social media exposure.

When you choose a wire service, ensure that it offers social media integration. You need to create an impact on social media. Everyone knows how it helps businesses.

Inquire if they have this feature. Does it allow you to auto-post your story on your Facebook or Twitter account? Does it have a social media sharing button to encourage visitors to share it?

The world of social media is so huge that you can’t ignore the fact of how it can help your story get much exposure. Using newswire can provide you a new way to promote your business in front of people and sites that are impossible for you to reach before.

A press release that is social media ready can get as many reads, likes, shares, and engagement. More interactions on social media can boost your SEO. Again going back, when more people see your news, there is the likelihood that you’ll have higher conversion rates.

  1. You can promote your news on different platforms.

A wire service helps widen the reach of your news. It’s because they have different distribution strategies that syndicate your story to different reporters, media outlets, and locations.

In just one push of a button, your release is ready to be seen on various channels without much effort. Using newswire cuts the long process of distribution.

Fortunately, there are distribution services that streamline the process. For instance, Newswire ensures that the first draft of your release is ready within 48 hours.

This means that your story can reach multiple places at one time. It provides a quick process and fast result.

  1. You can attract more leads and investors.

When your story is distributed across various channels, you’ll attract more leads and investors. However, it’s enough that it is just present everywhere.

You need to issue a quality announcement. Keep it newsworthy and relevant to get the attention of investors. If you’ll get a monthly or annual distribution package, your brand will be visible frequently.

You’ll be at the top of their minds. They are eyeing for brands that they can trust. Issuing a release via wire can make this possible. By distributing a well-written and effective release, you can be a potential partner for them.

  1. You have more opportunities to earn quality backlinks.

Press release distribution sites are connected with their network of reputable (has high page rank) reporters and media outlets. Google gives authority to these sites.

If you produced and distributed well-written, newsworthy and interesting content, you’ll attract them to link to your site. This increases the number of quality backlinks that help boost your site on the search ranking.

Some online press release platforms allow the use of anchor text on hyperlinks. It gives Google a signal that your site is ranking for a certain keyword.

When you’re on top of the search engine result pages (SERPs), you attract more visitors to your site.

  1. Your news appears on Google News.

Using a press release distribution platform allows you to appear on Google News, Bing, and Yahoo. Your exposure on top of the search engines can help you become more visible.

People looking for a particular keyword that you used will see your content. When your story appears on Google News, you’ll have more traffic to your site.

Now that you’ve learned the many ways on how distribution can help grow your business, you need to develop a basis on how you’ll choose a distribution service. Focus on your goals, budget, and needs.

Don’t forget that content is King. Make sure that you are distributing high-quality content that the media would love. This doesn’t only help you in getting traffic an exposure but media opportunities.

Iran’s Exports Hit $70bn despite Sanctions: Customs Chief

Mahdi Mirashrafi says the figure stood at $10 billion during the war imposed on Iran in the 1980s, and the seven-fold increase comes despite the all-out pressure on Tehran during the past decades.

During the first 11 months of the current Iranian year, the Islamic Republic exported $40 billion worth of products to China, which is the country’s top trade partner with $8.3 billion worth of imports.

He added that the country’s second-largest trade partner is Iraq with $8.2 billion.

“During these 11 months, $38.5 billion worth of goods were imported, with $1.5 billion worth of trade-offs, of which about $1 billion were essential goods.”

The exports come as the United States in November imposed the “toughest” sanctions ever against Iran in an attempt to curtail the Islamic Republic’s oil exports and put extra pressure on the country’s economy.

The US thought the sanctions would force Iran to abandon its nuclear and ballistic missile programs while rolling back Tehran’s influence in the Middle East region.

However, Washington later admitted that it had failed to get the main buyers of Iranian oil to tag along and had to grant temporary waivers to China, India, South Korea, Turkey, Italy, Greece, Japan and Taiwan.

‘Pakistani Army Starts Operation to Release Iranian Border Guards’

Four Terrorists Nabbed in South-Eastern Iran

That was announced on Sunday by Brigadier General Qassem Rezaei, the chief of Iran’s Border Guard Command.

He said following up the issue of the border guards abducted by Pakistan-based terrorists is one of the main concerns of his command and the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.

“Iran’s police chief has always focused on this issue and, following his order, there has been a lot of efforts to return the abducted border guards to the country.”

Referring to the meetings with Pakistani officials and some tribal chiefs in this regard, Rezaei said, “Based on the latest follow ups, the border guards are in Pakistan and alive.”

“We believe the Pakistani government has a strong army and strong security forces, and if wants, it can definitely release our guards,” underlined the commander.

Referring to the strong relations and friendship between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan, he emphasized, “We must not allow the disrupters of security to do whatever they want, and certainly we expect the Pakistani government to deal seriously with the members of the terrorist groups.”

Twelve Iranian security personnel were abducted by the Jaish ul-Adl terror group, which is based in Pakistan, back in October.

Iran’s IRGC commander announced in November that five of the guards abducted by terrorists at a border post in the city of Mirjaveh, southeast Iran, have been released.

The others, however, are still held by the terrorists, and efforts are underway to secure their release.
